    Sale director of rugby Steve Diamond, a former Saracens coach, has unleashed all his big guns for this one, with Cirpriani pulling the strings at No 10, though, he has been denied a fly-half battle with Owen Farrell after he was posted in midfield for the visitors.

    Sharks flanker Magnus Lund (37/39) is the top tackler in the Champions Cup this year and will be influential for Sale.

    As previously eluded to, following his travails in the centres for England, Owen Farrell has been selected at No 12 by Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall. It's a decision made due to an injury to Brad Barritt, the Sarries coach insists. Charlie Hodgson continues at No 10, with former England wingers David Strettle and Chris Ashton eager to prove a point today.

    Saracens' Jamie George (19) made the joint most tackles in the most recent round of Champions Cup fixtures.

    Don't forget, we have matches on two fronts, both kicking off at 1pm. Reigning Aviva Premiership champions Northampton Saints are in Italy to take on Benetton Treviso, a game you can see live on the Red Button from Sky Sports 2.

    Northampton have won both of their previous encounters with Treviso, when the pair were drawn in the same pool in the 2009/10 season.

    What a try! Farrell scored it but all made by Charlie Hodgson:  A great line out from Saracens, Hodgson takes it flat and runs a great angle back into space and is away. He then offloads to A supporting Farrell who scores despite the desperate cover tackle of Lund. Hodgson cannot add the extras, but that was superb work from him.

    Easter attacks for Sale from the back of the scrum, the ball is then kicked high by Cussiter but it is well fielded by Alex goode who has a lot of space and gets outside the Sale defence - Ashton flips the ball straight to Marcelo Bosch who is looking for Strettle. Good cover defence from Sale slows the Sarries attack down.

    Now Sale have a chance to attack after some mis-communication between Ashton and Goode regarding taking a high ball sees Goode finally get it but he is bundled into touch. Sale look to catch and drive, the ball is then spun wide to Luke McLean but Goode redeems himself with a great tackle and takes McLean into touch.

    The big russian lock then picks up from the ruck and is over.

    Saracens back on the attack now as the get a fantastic maul going from the lineout. Saracens have a penalty after Sale are pinged for trying to collapse the maul but Farrell opts for the drop-goal and nails it!
