MAKING THE WEIGHT
[jamie-moore] Jamie Moore says neither Froch nor Groves should struggle to hit their 12st mark.I'm sure both guys are there or there abouts. We didn't see any indication that they were struggling. Carl Froch especially is always near the weight, George Groves probably has a couple of pounds to go but you lose that everyday in training, it won't be a problem.5/30/2014 1:30:37 PM -
FIGHT FOCUS
This is the last necessary thing to be done before the fight, so every fighter looks forward to the weigh-in. Everything else you need to do is done. You can just focus on the fight after this.

McDONNELL V NA RACHAWAT - ROUND NINE [round-9]The Thai fighter has his heads through the ropes early on as McDonnell slips his assault and the Doncaster man is working well behind his jab once more, landing a succession of stiff left shots to hault his opponent's relentless pressing. Na Rachawat again comes in close but McDonnell lands a right to the head and a left around the side either side of receiving a left to the body. He's having some success up close too.5/31/2014 6:31:07 PM

Na Rachawat is still full of energy...

McDONNELL V NA RACHAWAT - ROUND TEN [round-10]McDonnel dips under a jumping left from Na Rachawat and then wins an exchange in the centre of the ring with a left getting through. McDonnell stumbles during another close-range combat, but the Brit is ok. KNOCKDOWN! A superb left hook from McDonnell sends Na Rachawat to the canvas! The Thai's legs turned to jelly.5/31/2014 6:34:35 PM

MCDONNELL REACTIONLet's grab a quick ringside word from Jamie McDonnell...Fantastic support tonight. It was brilliant; I felt at ease in there. I kept picking at him and poking but give the kid credit, he kept coming. I surprised myself at the end but that's my work done early. I could feel the first cut dripping into my eye - I thought it might have caused me a few problems but I just used my legs and got out of danger. This title means everything. I'm back on track and I'm sure I can get a unification fight - stick me in the ring with anyone.5/31/2014 6:44:28 PM

Here's Sky Sports News Radio's Ringside Report after Jamie McDonnell's win...
5/31/2014 6:47:46 PM -
PUNDIT REACTION [glenn-mccrory]Glenn McCrory was pretty impressed by Jamie McDonell:You've got to congratulate him because he's had a tough 12 months, getting stripped of that title. He's been in the doldrums a little bit but he's come back fighting. It looked like it was going to get tough from the second round - Rachawat was piling on the pressure - but Jamie kept his head.5/31/2014 6:48:09 PM

MITCHELL V MADUMA - ROUND ONE [round-1]Dagenham boy Mitchell has to weather some early barrages from his opponent. Maduma is 16-0 with 10kos and a very dangerous opponent. A fierce combination ends with a left to the body from Maduma before Mitchell responds with a left of his own and smartly ducks under a wide right. Maduma tries a couple of times to come in behind his left jab but Mitchell sees out the round without sustaining any major damage.5/31/2014 6:54:22 PM
-
MITCHELL V MADUMA - ROUND TWO [round-2]An opening left from Mitchell is met with a fierce response. Both these men look to be packing real power and are wary of over-committing. A left from Maduma forces Mitchell to step back but the local lad comes forward a again with a couple of jabs. The fight is yet to really kick off yet, with only a couple of flurries from each man at a time.5/31/2014 6:58:19 PM
-
MITCHELL V MADUMA - ROUND THREE [round-3]A wild flurry from both men at the start of the third draws oos from the crowd before Maduma pursues Mitchell across the canvas, swinging rights. Mitchell's movement keeps him out of range though and a short left hook lands on the Montreal fighter. Maduma comes back with another threatening volley and catches Mitchell on the jaw as he charges in again. A leading right then couple of lefts from Maduma causes Mitchell problems as the bell sounds.5/31/2014 7:02:04 PM

GROVES IS IN THE BUILDING!As the big screen shows Groves arriving at Wembley there's a mixture of cheers and jeers in the crowd - they can't wait for the big one to get underway!!5/31/2014 7:03:06 PM

MITCHELL V MADUMA -- ROUND FOUR [round-4]Maduma's right fist booms into Mitchell the Dagenham boxer has to go on the retreat. A close exchange sees Maduma try to work the body but Mitchell's defence is good and he gets out of there. Maduma is throwing jabs with real intent but often falling short of his target; Mitchell's movement is very impressive. He had nowhere to go there, though, as he backs onto the ropes and takes a left to the body. Another barrage in the corner follows and Mitchell is bobbing, weaving, ducking and doing anything he can to avoid Maduma's barrage.5/31/2014 7:06:49 PM
-
MITCHELL V MADUMA - ROUND FIVE [round-5]A shuddering exchange ends with a left from Mitchell landing flush on Maduma's head. The Canadian looked momentarily stunned by that, but is soon back to work, dominating the centre of the ring, prowling after Mitchell and trying to land another fierce left jab. Mitchell charges in wildly but misses his target and gets a right to the side of the head on the way through. Maduma follows that with another powerful blow upstairs which wins the applause of his corner. Mitchell took some punishment in that one.5/31/2014 7:10:03 PM
