Froch v Groves II

The weight is never a problem but the preparation has been better. This weigh in is bigger than most fights but what matters is what happens in that ring. I'm focused; tunnel vision. You're going to see me at my best.
    5/30/2014 3:14:47 PM
I can't see Groves going the distance with me. He's not fit enough and tough enough. He hit me with a great shot in round one last time. That was me at my worst; Groves fought out of his skin. Now I'm at my best.
    5/30/2014 3:16:38 PM
I've done the weight comfortably. I feel perfect, mind, body and soul. I couldn't be more ready.

I would beat Carl Froch every night of the week. We're ready, we can go all night long. This fight is going to get worse for Carl after every round. I'm in perfect condition. The belts should be mind. Carl's had them on loan for six months.
    5/30/2014 3:20:22 PM
Groves is looking healthy and good at the weight. If he goes in with a 12-round plan he's got a terrific chance of victory.
    5/30/2014 3:21:09 PM

That's the last time they see each other before the fight; next time they see each other they'll be punching each other in the face!
    5/30/2014 3:24:33 PM
Wow, well that was as thrilling as we expected!

A packed Wembley Arena went wild for both fighters - and Froch and Groves looked in terrific shape.

There were some words shared as they went face-to-face but both men seemed more than happy with their condition and their chances tomorrow night.

We're underway. Legg goes straight on the offensive, leading in with the right hooks. A powerful left hook then lands perfectly. Joshua hasn't been troubled like this before.  But the Olympic champ regains his composure and two rapid combinations put Legg on the floor!! AND IT'S ALL OVER!

It was a right upper cut that did for Legg. Joshua had him in trouble with two fierce combos and then a right upper cut got through the defences and sent the Milton Keynes man sprawling.
