  • It's a great day for everyone involved at Saracens. Thank you to everyone who cam out and supported us - it is wonderful to play in front of you. Thanks to everyone behind the scenes too - Saracens is just a wonderful club to play for. We knew we had to absorb the pressure in the first 20 minutes and we knew we have to put that back onto them - it worked out today. Fair play to Clermont, they kept on coming. we have made it to the final but the job is not done yet.

  • We knew that they have got big ball carriers and that they
play their best when they get over the gainline.
We tried to cut their legs and
take their momentum away – I think it worked well for us.
We knew we had to get
in their faces and cut them down as soon as possible.
We took their energy away and they looked a
    bit shell-shocked at some stages.
They are a great team and we did well to
    knock them off their stride.
     I think I
actually touched the ball twice today – one pick and go and one carry.
    I have
gone games without touching the ball so that is a lot for me.
