Good work from Williams to claim an up and under from Buttin. Leicester move into Clermont's half  - Ben Youngs looking for a penalty but it won't be enough! They do win a scrum though and are back to 15 men as Waldrom is back on.
    4/5/2014 4:47:55 PM
  • Clermont Auvergne 22-16 Leicester
Precious seconds being eaten up here as they have to reset the scrum. That is a huge scrum from Clermont. Rolland blows up  - is it a reset or a turnover? He has a word with both front rows and says it is still Leicester's put in.
    4/5/2014 4:49:54 PM
  • [penalty-rugby] PENALTY! Clermont Auvergne 22-16 Leicester

  • [full-time] Clermont Auvergne 22-16 Leicester

  • 4/5/2014 4:59:57 PM
  • [willgreenwood] It was just so close and by the finest of margins, it was finger nail stuff. If you look at the balance of the game well Clermont probably just about deserved to go through. That does not take away the fact that Leicester fought back from 16-0 down and put themselves in a position to win that game.
Will Greenwood has high praise for Leicester

  • [betting]Stay with us, as Ulster v Saracens is coming up. Sky Bet make the home side 4/7 favourites with the visitors rated 13/8. It should be pretty tight though, and Ulster can be backed to win by 1-5 points at 4/1. Bet here.

  • I cannot be prouder of a group of players. To play for 75 minutes  with 14 players and to lose by two points is just an unbelievable performance. The passion and the commitment that they showed out there just shows the quality of this side. They were unbelievable.
    Ulster skipper Johann Muller
    4/5/2014 7:37:26 PM
  • We made too many errors and gave too many penalties away. That gave Ulster opportunities and shots in goals. Playing into that wind in the first half and coming into the first half with that scoreline we were disappointed with some elements of it but we felt we were in a good position. We manged to force them into their own half which gave us opportunities by keeping some sustained pressure on Ulster. I am privileged to be part of a fantastic group of people; a group of people who will fight exceptionally hard for each other. We know we were not perfect tonight but one thing we will do is fight until the very end and we did that. we can feel very proud that we did that against a very good Ulster team!
    Saracens skipper Steve Borthwick

  • [betting]And here's how the bookmakers see tomorrow's game going, with Toulon the big favourites in Sky Bet's odds. Bet here.

    4/5/2014 7:47:26 PM
  • We have prepared very well for today and the guys are really confident but this is a massive challenge - Toulon are a fantastic side and we are going to have to be good. We need to be really accurate - we were lucky to come here last year and tiny inaccuracies cost us the game. we can't let Toulon gain momentum - it can get away from you very quickly.
    Leinster head coach Matt O'Connor
    4/6/2014 3:02:52 PM
  • I think this is a whole team game for Leinster - if they believe they can outrun and that they have more fitness than Toulon - it's not just one person who has to believe that, the whole team has to believe that.
Sir Clive Woodward gives some advice for Leinster
    4/6/2014 3:07:54 PM
  • If one team can do it down here then it is Leinster - but when you look at the Toulon bench with players like Bryan Habana and Maxime Mermoz; well they are an all star team. It's a 50/50 game today.

    4/6/2014 3:59:19 PM
  • Toulon 6-3 Leinster
Leinster attack Toulon's 22 - Healy grubbers it and Wilkinson covers - his clearance is charged down though and goes into touch. Concerns for Wilkinson as he pulls up with a thigh problem. It's heavily strapped now.
    4/6/2014 4:01:22 PM
