  • [full-time]SCOTLAND 0-20 ENGLAND
A comfortable evening for England as they get their 6 Nations challenge underway. It was definitely a war of attrition for the purists as conditions dictated the run of play more than player quality. Luther Burrell and Mike Brown both touched down their second England tries, while a drop-goal from Danny Care and seven points from the boot of Owen Farrell gave the visitors a commanding scoreline.

Les Bleus left it late to squeeze past England on home turf last time out. Coach Philippe Saint-Andre has made three changes from the starting line-up for last Saturday. Stade Francais winger Hugo Bonneval will make his debut on the left wing instead of Maxime Medard, who has been dropped from the squad completely, while hooker Dimitri Szarzewski starts ahead of Benjamin Kayser. Yoann Maestri come in for Alexandre Flanquart at lock.

Coach Jacques Brunel introduces five new faces to the starting XV that pushed Wales close before succumbing to a 23-15 in Cardiff last weekend. Zebre's Tommaso Iannoni will replace Angelo Esposito on the right wing, while club team-mate Gonzalo Garcia returns after an eight-month absence to start in the centres in place of Alberto Sgarbi. In the pack, there are places for Biarritz lock Joshua Furno, Benetton Treviso prop Alberto De Marchi and Treviso flanker Francesco Minto.
