Little to speak of in the first half but four tries and two red cards in the second. French powerhouse Louis Picamoles got the first for France before Wesley Fofana doubled their try tally moments later. Hugo Bonneval put the hosts well clear in the 51st minute, before Tomasso Iannone touched down a consolation score for the Italians.

  • That's Round Two of the 2014 Six Nations over. Ireland and France level on points at the top of table. England and Wales are close behind with two points apiece, while Scotland and Italy bring up the rear, both yet to register a win this campaign.

  • There is no international action next weekend as the 6 Nations takes a break. We will back with all the action from Round 3 on Friday week. Wales host France on the Millennium Stadium on February 21 before Scotland travel to the Stadio Olimpico to face Italy the following day. England wrap up the third weekend when they take on Ireland at Twickenham on Saturday evening, in what could turn out to be a tournament decider.
