  • So, Ireland win with relative ease on the opening weekend. Scotland pushed them hard in the first half but timely tries from Trimble, Heaslip and Kearney put Ireland on their way to two points. Both teams now have six days to dust themselves down for the next round of fixtures. Scotland will play England at Murrayfield, Ireland host Wales.
