  • [tottenham]UNDER PRESSURE
If the bookies are right, Spurs have virtually no chance of winning the title and are looking likely to miss out on a Champions League place too. Sky Bet make Tottenham 66/1 to win the Premier League and just 3/1 sixth favourites to finish in the top four. AVB is now joint second favourite at 8/1 to be the next Premier League manager to go. Fulham's Martin Jol is the hot 1/3 favourite.

The issue of sledging in cricket has raised its head again following the first Ashes Test in Brisbane. Michael Clarke has been fined for comments he made to Jimmy Anderson during the game. ECB umpires manager Chris Kelly had this to say on Sky Sports News...

You have to draw the distinction between banter and what you deem to be unfair. If umpires hear something they feel is obscene or it is insensitive comments, they can take action straight away.

More from ECB umpires manager Chris Kelly on Sky Sports News...

The umpires have not done anything wrong as far as I'm aware. They reacted to something that happened and the onus should be on the teams involved to make sure they don't overstep the line.

  • [crystalpalace] PULIS ON PALACE
It's a club in the Premier League, it's a smashing club with great history. It's going to be a tough job and I am not coming here with any illusions that it will be anything but tough. You look at how far this club has come in a few years - it's remarkable. It's an opportunity and chance to do something Palace hasn't done - get promoted and then stay in the Premier League.
