  • CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL

Michael Ballack has been speaking to Sky Sports ahead of tomorrow's UEFA Champions League final and he is backing his former club Bayern Munich to have the edge of their Bundesliga rivals Borussia Dortmund.
It's all about experience [in finals]. If you haven't reached a final before like nearly all of the Dortmund players and the coach it's a special situation. I think Bayern Munich have an advantage as they have the experience. They lost last year and they know the little things they can change to turn them around. Altogether Bayern are a fantastic team together.

  • FOOTBALL

Here's more on the confirmation that Gary Bowyer has been handed the Blackburn Rovers job on a full-time basis after two spells in caretaker charge this season. Bowyer has been at Ewood Park for nine years and is looking forward to his new role.
It is a huge honour and a proud moment for me. I have been at the club for nine years, I know the traditions. The foundation of the club was built on hard work and that is what we need to produce.  The supporters want to see the players out there playing for the shirt and giving it their all. We need the players to show the same passion that the fans gave us during our last six games where we just lost the once.
