Joe Kinnear will target signing a striker after his shock return to Newcastle United amid reports linking the club with Andy Carroll and Darren Bent.
I think we need another striker. Papiss Cisse was top scorer with 13 goals last season, the next best was Yohan Cabaye with six.

[ssn]Here’s more on yesterday’s announcement that Hearts plan to go into administration after accumulating debts of more than £25million. Sky Sports reporter, Luke Shanley, is live at Tynecastle.
I understand there are about four interested parties in taking over Hearts. A Scandinavian-based consortium, who have been working in the background, two in North America and one in London. But the other interested party, who have gone public, are the Foundation of Hearts. They want to take the club into fans’ ownership.

As Premier League clubs weigh up moves for Vitesse Arnhem's 31-goal striker Wilfried Bony and PSV Eindhoven's Ola Toivonen they would do well to remember the maxim 'buyer beware'. On goalscoring records alone there is plenty of evidence to suggest that both players could make the step up to England's top flight, but it's a prominent quirk of European football that attacking exports from the Eredivisie are enormously hit and miss. We take a look at some previous examples.

[ssn]We have got the latest on Joe Kinnear’s return to Newcastle from Sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol. He brings us up to speed on the story.
Joe Kinnear is having lunch today with Alan Pardew in London. I understand the reason Newcastle have not officially confirmed Joe Kinnear as returning as director of football is because Alan Pardew has so far refused to provide the club with a statement welcoming Joe Kinnear.

Warren Gatland has been speaking to Sky Sports in the wake of the British and Irish Lions' 14-12 defeat to the Brumbies at Canberra Stadium.
There's no excuses, first-half performance wasn't good enough and we got what we deserved. It's just disappointing. In fairness to the Brumbies they played well, put us under pressure at the breakdown. I was disappointed with the intensity of the first half, I thought we were much better in the second half. We just weren't quite good enough.
