CLUB 13 - YORK CITYIt's time for our first visit to the North East leg of 92Live and David Craig is on the pitch with club cheerleaders Fantasy Cheer and also Richard
Cresswell, who rejoined the Minstermen ahead of the new
campaign, 14 seasons after leaving the club. He says "it's a bit surreal" to be back, but he's excited about the shape of the squad.8/1/2013 7:40:45 AM -
And here they are!
8/1/2013 7:42:21 AM -
CLUB 14 - TRANMERE ROVERSNow we're inside Prenton Park with Alan Irwin and club manager Ronnie Moore, looking back at some old photographs. He's in his third tenure as manager of club, having also played for the club in two successful spells where he scored 78 league goals.8/1/2013 7:44:19 AM
-
Like every manager we could do with another couple of players, but we haven't got the money to go and do that so we get on with what we've got. They're a great bunch, there's no doubt about that and I think we've got a hell of a chance. We've got youth and experience in there so hopefully we'll get the goals we were lacking last season that would have taken us into the play-offs.
Ronnie Moore hopes to steer Tranmere into the promotion picture this season after disappointment last term.8/1/2013 7:46:50 AM -

CLUB 15 - SHREWSBURY TOWNOur next stop is Shropshire as Pete Colley chats to Shrewsbury manager Graham Turner inside the boot room. Turner is a rarity, he's seen the start of the season as player, manager and chairman and he says the best feeling is being a player! He's looking forward to facing MK Dons at the weekend - and the much younger Karl Robinson. He says the team are as ready as they'll ever be, he says it's a been as good a pre-season as he can remember and he has great confidence in his squad. However, he admits he'd like to sign a couple more players.8/1/2013 8:06:14 AM

CLUB 18 - ARSENALWe're off to North London now where Jim White's helicopter has touched down for the second time at Arsenal's training centre. He's joined by senior groundsman Scott Brooks and he says he's very happy with the way things are looking ahead of the new campaign. He says the training pitches are designed to replicate the Emirates pitch as closely as possible and two of them even have undersoil heating. Jim is impressed!8/1/2013 8:27:52 AM

CLUB 40 - ROTHERHAMOne of the quirkier moments of 92Live for you now. Ian Bolton is at Rotherham, where they eat more pies per head than any other club. Apparently 40% of their fans eat a pie at a match. So to celebrate we held a pie-eating contest between some members of the club staff (maintainance officer Andy Willert and head groundsman Dave Fellowes) and supporter Liam Braithwaite.8/1/2013 11:31:17 AM

8/1/2013 11:45:43 AM -
Fraser Dainton started the day at Everton but he's now arrived at Crewe where some famous faces adorn the walls of the canteen. The likes of Danny Murphy and Dean Ashton have come through the academy there and in the last game of last season they fielded a side entirely of academy products. Manager Steve Davis is delighted with the current crop of youngsters at the club...CLUB 43 - CREWEWe've got 11 players good enough to play in the first team of this division so that was the reason we did it. It was also a fitting tribute to Dario Gradi who has been here for 30 years. It's getting harder to produce them now though, they're a different breed to when I was a kid.
8/1/2013 11:47:50 AM -
Mark McAdam is at Hogwood Park, the training complex for Reading, where the club are currently packing up last season's kit. Why? Because they're donating it to charity Kit Aid. They collect kits and take them to some of the poorest countries in the world and these Royals strips are off to Gambia.CLUB 44 - READING

Everyone is ready for the big kick-off. Whether we're favourites to go up or not we are just focusing on ourselves. CLUB 47 - EXETERWe're past the halfway mark now and Amy Lewis has caught up with the second longest serving manager in English football, Exeter manager Paul Tisdale. He's been at the club for seven years and only Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has currently served for longer. He talked us through the training session he was running this afternoon....
We're doing an attacking and defending session which we have to do every week ahead of the games. The players need to be reminded because they're not the best at remembering their instructions! If I had 100 hours in the week to coach them I could fill those 100 hours but it's about picking the things that make a difference for Saturday.

We wanted to keep him here for obvious reasons, but we understand there are big clubs out there looking at your players and want to get those players into the building. It's just part and parcel of the business. It's a loss in many ways, but we've got a group of players that can still be productive, as it was last year when he was injured at times.

Well you shouldn't have because he's made it in time and grabbed a chat with a very busy man... the team bus driver Andy Horn. Alan gets a quick tour of the team bus - with a microwave, a kettle and Sky Sports News on the box, these boys can't complain.
Travelling to Preston will be a real luxury. But our longest trip this year will be Gillingham - we'll get back about midnight. I was certainly pleased to see Yeovil promoted!
