Morning all. How are we today?
    8/1/2014 7:18:52 AM
Let's begin with the news that Liverpool are close to sealing deals for full-back duo Alberto Moreno and Javi Manquillo.

The deal for Manquillo is reported to be a loan, possibly for two seasons, with a permanent deal worth in the region of £6m following at the end of that.

Meanwhile, Moreno is expected to cost the Reds £20m.

According to Spanish newspaper AS, Arsenal are eyeing a move for Alvaro Arbeloa as a possible replacement for Thomas Vermaelen. We're not really sure how that works.

Atletico Madrid's president says the La Liga champions are not interested in signing Santi Cazorla, Fernando Torres or Javier Hernandez.
    8/1/2014 7:33:07 AM
Arsenal have been linked with a £16m move for exciting Porto prospect Juan Quintero, but the playmaker's agent has played down speculation. He told MaisFutebol: "Porto have never talked about negotiating the sale of Juan Quintero.

"Of course, there are clubs interested. There is a lot of interest from clubs from Spain and England in the player.

"But in order for him to leave, a club has to pay his buy-out clause."
    8/1/2014 7:35:47 AM
That buy-out clause is rumoured to be 40 million euros.
    8/1/2014 7:36:14 AM

    8/1/2014 7:36:27 AM
    20m a bit much for Moreno F365?
    8/1/2014 7:38:59 AM
Not if he solves the left-back position for the next five to ten years.
    8/1/2014 7:39:18 AM
Let's have a quiet moment to reflect on Olof Mellberg's beard after the defender announced his retirement.

Does anyone know why Rodgers refuses to look at Ricardo Rodriguez for the fullback solution? He's the best young full back in europe and had a good world cup.
    8/1/2014 7:43:58 AM
Here's Jose Mourinho talking up Diego Costa: "Technically he is very, very good. That’s why, lots of the players, they are so happy and so surprised, because his quality is even higher than what they expect."
    8/1/2014 7:44:35 AM
Bologna are keen to take Liverpool kid Rafael Paez on a season-long loan.
    8/1/2014 7:45:01 AM
Meanwhile, Chelsea's Nathan Ake is wanted on loan by Derby.
    8/1/2014 7:45:36 AM
Maybe the Chelsea players are just surprised after seeing his performance in the World Cup
    8/1/2014 7:45:38 AM
So what's the F365 prediction for where Hernandez could be off to then?
    8/1/2014 7:45:44 AM
Inter are reportedly still interested. Stanger thinks Liverpool should bid for him.
    8/1/2014 7:46:07 AM
Stanger also once went into work without trousers though
    8/1/2014 7:48:05 AM
    Hernandez for Vermaelen swop maybe?
    8/1/2014 7:48:14 AM
Good morning. Is Dier to Spurs done? Any idea if hes any good?
    8/1/2014 7:48:26 AM
We don't know much about him, but we've heard he's still quite raw.
    8/1/2014 7:48:40 AM
According to The Times, Newcastle are trying to sign striker Facundo Ferreyra on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk.
    8/1/2014 7:49:26 AM

    8/1/2014 7:53:00 AM
And in other mid-table news: Aston Villa's Matt Lowton could be off to Middlesbrough on a season-long loan.
    8/1/2014 7:53:33 AM
Lowton to 'Boro? That's the kind of news we're all here for.
    8/1/2014 7:55:18 AM
I assume by mid-table news you mean mid-table in the championship?
    8/1/2014 7:55:21 AM
According to both AS and Marca, Diego Lopez will be leaving Real to make way Keylor Navas.
    8/1/2014 7:55:49 AM
That's one way to reward one of your most reliable performers.
    8/1/2014 7:56:16 AM
Surely a Ilori loan to Dortmund wouldn't encourage them to part with one of the most respected defenders in Europe ? I would find that odd. Although, if he's good enough for Dortmund, why wouldn't he be good enough to Liverpool ?
    8/1/2014 7:56:28 AM
    That's what we wondered...
    8/1/2014 7:56:33 AM
Liverpool buying 3 actual defenders in 2 weeks, I hope all of you at F365 towers were wearing caps when B-Rod just blew your minds.
    8/1/2014 8:01:40 AM
What is the official F365 view on Schneiderlin? Brilliant or not good enough for the elite? (My club, Spurs, are not part of aforementioned elite)
    8/1/2014 8:01:59 AM
Decent, but we wouldn't spend >£20m on him.
    8/1/2014 8:02:20 AM
    Please can Liverpool get Shaqiri!
    8/1/2014 8:02:27 AM
We're not sure they read the blog, fella.
    8/1/2014 8:02:34 AM
Aston Villa will make a £3m move for Scott Sinclair if they fail to sign Victor Moses on loan.
