The F365 Transfer Blog - Thursday July 31

Carvalho and Vidal would be an absolute treat for the united midfield. Have we cut out any dross yet? Looking at Anderson here.
    7/31/2014 8:23:58 AM
Good morning blog, please tell me today is a day full of done dealios, excitement and whimsy, to distract me from the joyous of task of filling ahead of me today!
    7/31/2014 8:24:15 AM
There is not a massive difference (if there is a difference at all) between Khedira and Pogba, and Khedira is a third of the price. Plus he'd integrate quickly with his BFF Mesut in the side.
    7/31/2014 8:24:20 AM
Khedira questionable injury record? Prior to last season he had played over 40 games a season for three years straight. Are you saying Arsenal should only sign people who have never been injured?
    7/31/2014 8:26:27 AM
United are not going to sign Carvalho and Vidal, probably not even one of them, you'll end up with Mccarthy, we know it, you know it and LVG knows it too
    7/31/2014 8:26:30 AM
    I'd take anderson at Southampton.

Give him some regular playing time and i think he could be rather good..
    7/31/2014 8:26:32 AM
I had a look at footgolf last night... looks the shiz! cant believe i've never heard of it. Another service provided by football365
    7/31/2014 8:26:37 AM
This Vidal stuff is rumbling on...those folk at El Mercurio are now claiming that Arturo (almost write 'Gore' every time) has passed a Manchester United medical and has agreed £200k-a-week wages.
    7/31/2014 8:29:22 AM
Reports in Spain suggest Karim Benzema has agreed a new deal at Real Madrid. Remember when it looked like he was off this summer...
    7/31/2014 8:30:24 AM
I'm so glad someone else thinks 'Gore' whenever they hear 'Vidal', I was starting to think I was weird
    7/31/2014 8:30:36 AM
QPR are looking to bolster their attacking options by signing Kolbeinn Sigthorsson from Ajax. Let's face it, if he were any good, he'd be on his way to Southampton.
    7/31/2014 8:32:20 AM
I'm almost certina that selling Lukaku wasn't the right idea, but let's see if Jose puts his money where his mouth is now and allows Bamford a chance and then Solanke and Brown next season...
    7/31/2014 8:32:42 AM
Dear Blog deity, please make a DM Arsenal signing happen today. If you do I shall sacrifice a goat to you. Not a real goat, obviously. Why would I want to spoil a goat's day? But I'll draw you a nice picture and send it to you.
    7/31/2014 8:35:35 AM

Is it just me or has Cesc got 10 years older?

    7/31/2014 8:40:17 AM
Cesc looks like he's a season or two away from QPR!
    7/31/2014 8:44:35 AM
West Brom in for Haris Seferovic and Jonathan Biabiany.
    7/31/2014 8:44:37 AM
Blackpool appear to be in pole position to sign Matthew Briggs, recently released by Fulham, after the 23 year old left-back turned down Milwall's contract offer. He had been training with them for the last few weeks and was believed to want to stay in London, but the Seasiders now appear to be close to completing his signing.
    7/31/2014 8:44:56 AM
Why's Roberto Martinez in a Chelsea shirt?
    7/31/2014 8:45:41 AM
Surely the best thing to come out of the Daily Vidal (el mercurio) today is that his nickname is Celia Punk.
    7/31/2014 8:48:22 AM
Oh wow, now Metro are going in bold with: "Arturo Vidal passes medical tests with Manchester United ahead of transfer"
    7/31/2014 8:48:25 AM
I hope Schneirderlin goes on strike, always a text book transfer window move, it's something we need
    7/31/2014 8:51:01 AM
Reports state that they are not sure whether Juventus gave permission for these medical tests on Vidal.... haha No Sh!t Sherlock - Its all nonesense I bet... More-so that he chilean newspaper wants the sale more than anyone else
    7/31/2014 8:53:10 AM
Apparantly Vidal had a 3rd party medical upon return from holiday which utd could use to progress the transfer
    7/31/2014 8:53:25 AM
That headline in the metro makes it sound like Vidal had to write an actual examination ahead of his transfer
    7/31/2014 8:53:28 AM
Why are the Chileans so keen for this Vidal move to go through? He's not exactly at some two-bit, backwater club - Juve are a huge team.
    7/31/2014 8:56:40 AM
Here's what Javier Hernandez has said about possible interest from Inter Milan: "I know of interest from Inter. I'm happy for this reason. There are many clubs at the moment that want me, but at the moment I am a Manchester United player. It isn't respectful talking about other teams. I don't know my future, we will see after USA tournament."
    7/31/2014 8:58:14 AM
    He really should go.
    7/31/2014 8:58:22 AM
We all know the Vidal stuff is rubbish. The main reason being it is taking so long and it's only ever been the papers saying anything. LVG is clearly not a man who messes about, if he wanted him, it would of been sorted out a long time ago one way or the other.
    7/31/2014 8:58:40 AM
I'm suing El Mercurio for harassment. They've got my hopes up too many times and its taking a toll on my mental wellbeing
    7/31/2014 8:58:48 AM
Rule 1 of the transfer window Rustin: remain calm.
    7/31/2014 9:00:49 AM
As a Utd Fan I would hate to see Hernandez go - but as a football supporter he should move on as he deserves first team football all the time.
    7/31/2014 9:00:58 AM
I would love Spurs to stick in a cheeky bid for Chicharito.
    7/31/2014 9:00:59 AM

Tottenham have lodged a bid for Sporting Lisbon's English defender Eric Dier. #thfc #spurs

Watched the Liverpool City game last night and I have to say I hope Rodgers gives Coates a chance this season. He 's looked pretty good in last couple of games. Still young so could still forge a good partnership with either Lovren / Sakho. Agger and Skrtel to leave and have a fresh back 4 with Flannagan and Moreno (if he eventually signs!).... Johnson looks worse and worse
    7/31/2014 9:04:00 AM
Looks like Coates could be staying at Liverpool this season and possibly evening playing. Heres BR:

"Every player has an opportunity," said the Northern Irishman. "Seba was out for a lot of last season. He's done well in pre-season, he has been very composed on the ball and he passes it well. He has done well."
    7/31/2014 9:04:06 AM

Arturo Vidal: Has made at least 60 more tackles (459) than any other player in Serie A in the last 3 seasons #juve

    7/31/2014 9:04:29 AM
Sad to see Chica go but its the right move for him, to Atletico, with perhaps Miranda coming in the other direction. These moves never happen but we can dream
    7/31/2014 9:05:24 AM
Stop it F365! You're only making it harder to prepare ourselves for the day LVG says we were never interested in Vidal anyway
    7/31/2014 9:06:35 AM
Spurs seem to have more brains involved in their transfer business this summer. Going to be an awfully big squad at this rate though.
    7/31/2014 9:06:48 AM
is Dier any good or is he a novelty of an English player playing abroad?
    7/31/2014 9:06:56 AM
I presume we won't sign Dier and Lascelles. Which one is better though?
    7/31/2014 9:12:57 AM
If LVG is gonna stick with playing 2 up top is it not best to have 4 quality players to pick from? Hernandez could stay...
    7/31/2014 9:15:56 AM
LVG: 'I always wanted to buy Vidal when he was at Bayer Leverkusen but he went to Juventus.'

'I like a lot of Chile players and they always play an attacking style.'
    7/31/2014 9:16:01 AM
So Romelu Lukaku is the fifth most expensive signing in the Premier League this summer. But could he be the best value? Still think Everton need another striker - they basically have last season's squad with added games.
    7/31/2014 9:17:16 AM
Tom Lees completes move to Sheffield Wednesday. Signs a three-year deal - Leeds say they have received an undisclosed fee. Remember when people thought he was any good?
