The F365 Transfer Blog - Tuesday July 15

  • To be pedantic; Paul has never actually loaned Tom. He managed him at Blackpool, but he was already their player at the time. In fact, he loaned him out to Crystal Palace, in exchange for Stephen Dobbie. Not sure how much benefit he really was to Palace either.

    7/15/2014 2:46:40 PM
  • Two English players at one Maltese club? I think we would go crazy. Almost as crazy as we went when a local player, Michael Mifsud, scored 2 goals against United for Coventry City in the Carling Cup. They called him the Maltese Messi for about a week until he turned to sh*t and ended up at Melbourne Hart.
    7/15/2014 2:46:52 PM

Turns out she is hoovering early for the first time in 2 years.

    7/15/2014 2:52:21 PM
  • Cleverley and Barkley to have a straight swap. Bet you're disappointed you didn't think of that one for the poll, F365.
    7/15/2014 2:55:20 PM
  • Because Fuller had such a good season last year? In all fairness, he was one of Blackpool's better players, but that's not exactly saying much and he's 34 now. Mistake.
    7/15/2014 2:55:28 PM
  • Confused by the Manquillo news, wouldn't Jenkinson be the backup Arsenal need for Debuchy? Unless Jenks will be heading up north as part of the deal

    7/15/2014 3:00:38 PM
  • I'm on the fence about Jenko. He is a true Gunner but he's a bit meh. I don't think he's ready to step up to it yet. Maybe a loan spell would do him some good and Manquillo can replace him as back up for now.

    7/15/2014 3:09:50 PM
  • It looks like Jenks is off to Newcastle, especially with the interest in Calum Chambers also.

Or else it's just an imaginary orderly queue of fresh faced right backs.
    7/15/2014 3:09:55 PM
  • Rodgers and Wisdom in the same sentence...must resist urge to use sarcasm
    7/15/2014 3:10:04 PM
