The F365 Transfer Blog - Tuesday July 22

  • It baffles me how people take everything literally. What do you want van Gaal to say, ''I have an awful squad, I am selling them all'. Plus some of them players were very good under Fergie. Stretch your memory back beyond last seasons disaster.
    7/22/2014 11:19:38 AM
  • As a Liverpool fan it is obvious Vidal will more likely sign for Utd than us most players would
    7/22/2014 11:19:43 AM
  • Thank the lord. Sanity.
    7/22/2014 11:19:56 AM
  • we may see a bit of Akpom this season at Arsenal
    7/22/2014 11:20:08 AM
  • Jokes aside, I agree with F365 on this. Liverpool have had one good season, and got incredibly lucky. United have consistency on their side, and haven't lost a big player recently
    7/22/2014 11:20:19 AM
  • We're crawling back into the world of transfer gossip. It;s much much safer.
    7/22/2014 11:20:54 AM
  • I think at the end of the day the big teams get more stories about them & take precedence on the website because they get more clicks due to their bigger fan bases. Being spoken about more means more likely to be on the receiving end of F365's wry put downs. There is no favouritism
    7/22/2014 11:21:22 AM
  • I wear F365's put downs like a badge of honour. I wear all put downs like a badge of honour. Something is seriously wrong with me.
    7/22/2014 11:22:26 AM
  • Daily Star claiming that Arsenal are ready to step up their interest in Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Lars Bender.
    7/22/2014 11:23:06 AM
  • Afternoon all, I'm late to the party thanks to a personal review meeting. Is Wisdom to West Brom happening yet?
    7/22/2014 11:23:09 AM
  • It's done!
    7/22/2014 11:23:15 AM
  • Will Keane and Tom Lawrence just signed new deals. This will be posted due to favouritism.
    7/22/2014 11:23:26 AM
  • Real have spent more on Bale, Ronaldo and James than Ajax have spent on players since they were founded. Absolutely mental.
    7/22/2014 11:25:02 AM
  • Facebook seems to be awash with that nugget
    7/22/2014 11:25:17 AM
  • Has Emmanuel Frimpongs move to Sturm Graz been confirmed. I will not be allowing it to go under the radar
    7/22/2014 11:25:55 AM
  • No idea
    7/22/2014 11:26:00 AM
  • So James Rodriguez to Madrid is almost done. Just how good is he? There wasn't exactly a lot of talk before the World Cup (where to be fair he looked cracking)
    7/22/2014 11:26:03 AM
  • Overpriced, in my (Daniel) opinion
    7/22/2014 11:26:20 AM
  • Good stuff one year loan? Youll be pleased to know my manager is calm and relaxed about my performance and contribution to the team.
    7/22/2014 11:26:27 AM
  • What happens once the season starts and Blackpool still doesn't have enough players, will there be no repercussions from the Football League? Fine, point deductions etc.
    7/22/2014 11:26:33 AM
  • They'll still get a draw on the opening day.
    7/22/2014 11:26:42 AM
  • Coming to think of it Ajax are never really linked with anyone. Top top academy that.
    7/22/2014 11:26:46 AM
  • Have Arsenal been linked with Sebastian Frey yet? if not, you heard it here first, Frey to arsenal, £1 scratchcard and a packet of maltesers
    7/22/2014 11:29:22 AM
  • I think Real could of pushed for Aguero with a similar fee. Injury record saved him for City, there.
    7/22/2014 11:29:28 AM
  • Who are Blackpool playing again? Oh yes... Psycho will play more defenders than Blackpool have players
    7/22/2014 11:29:31 AM
  • Real Madrid should be winning every single competition they enter for the next 3 years, minimum with that squad (front line). How the hell do you stop that front line?
    7/22/2014 11:29:34 AM
  • Normally a very positive Sunderland fan but I'm surprised F365 Towers aren't tipping us to go down this season. The only defenders we have registered to the club (and who are not on the transfer list) are Billy Jones, John O'Shea and whatever is left of Wes Brown. Either we're praying for no injuries or "doing a Blackpool".
    7/22/2014 11:29:42 AM
  • Sunderland, Swansea, West Brom and Villa. Battling with Burnley and Leicester against the drop.
    7/22/2014 11:30:17 AM
  • Rumors flying around about Liverpool's "marquee" signing. I want pogba (which happens to also makes the most sense out of the 3 mentioned) so bad I can taste it
    7/22/2014 11:32:11 AM
  • No chance (in our biased opnion)
    7/22/2014 11:32:23 AM
  • In tipping Albion to go down, are we to assume that you reckon Ideye Brown will be less Wilfried Bony and more Ricky van Wolfswinkel?
    7/22/2014 11:32:26 AM
  • Word on the grapevine is that Javier Manquillo has opted for Liverpool instead of Arsenal, I wonder if this was 'geographically motivated' Brendan?
    7/22/2014 11:32:58 AM
  • I hope the stepping up bids for Bender has substance. Would have been in that world cup team barring injury. Also think of the shirt sales!
    7/22/2014 11:33:03 AM
  • I told my 4 year old nephew to support Nottingham Forest... I told him The Gruffalo used to play right-back for them.
    7/22/2014 11:34:00 AM
  • I don;t care how you did it, it's another on board.
    7/22/2014 11:34:19 AM
  • I reckon Villa will be relegated this season. They seem to have signed a lot of 'past-it' players and their young crop just aren't talented enough.
    7/22/2014 11:34:21 AM
  • Which new import into the premier league are you looking forward to watching the most, f365? For me, Siem De Jong....
    7/22/2014 11:38:35 AM
  • Oh aye, De Jong and Riviere
    7/22/2014 11:38:46 AM
  • What! I was just about to create a Fabian Delph buzz around the water-cooler at lunch time!

    7/22/2014 11:38:57 AM
  • Paul Burke is right. Aguero would also arguably have been a better fit for Real with Ronaldo and Bale either side of him.
    7/22/2014 11:39:01 AM
  • In F365's humble opinion what do you think of the reports about Griezmann to Spurs... Unfounded tosh or hmmm could happen?
    7/22/2014 11:39:04 AM
  • Hmm could happen

    But hmm probably won;t
    7/22/2014 11:39:21 AM
  • When Sigurdsson gets back to Swansea, will he look in the mirror and consider the only things which he has gained in the last two years to be a bit of weight and a couple of wrinkles. He has wasted a lot of people's time, but mainly he has just wasted his own.
    7/22/2014 11:39:36 AM
  • Pogba is probably the player least likely to move in this, or the next couple of windows...i've said it before, Juve will use any money incoming from player sales, to tie him down for as long as possible.
    7/22/2014 11:39:43 AM
  • I'm tempted to start supporting Forest just so I can buy one of those glorious looking strips!
