The F365 Transfer Blog - Tuesday July 22

  • Touche F365. That one still hurts...
    7/22/2014 11:55:52 AM
  • Wisdom is done, by the way. You all knew that right?
    7/22/2014 11:57:27 AM
  • Holtby deserves a nice club that will treat him like a princess, he made Fulham just about watchable last season.
    7/22/2014 11:57:36 AM
  • Holtby back to Germany? West Ham would be nice, if they promised not to play Nolan.
    7/22/2014 11:58:02 AM
  • A bit late onto this but why don't you think Cuadrado joining United is likely? Is it because of Barca or do you think he won't cut it in the league?
    7/22/2014 11:58:04 AM
  • Not sure that's where United's priorities lie, but wouldn't rule it out totally.
    7/22/2014 11:58:24 AM
  • Football techniques sometimes sound like carnal positions too. The "Nutmeg" has a particularly painful ring to it.
    7/22/2014 11:58:34 AM
  • what do thee at F365 think of Wisdom?
    7/22/2014 11:58:43 AM
  • Knowledge is speaking, Wisdom is listening.
    7/22/2014 11:58:56 AM
  • Spurs TV have done another USA vid, apparently Ben Davies is in it in the background. Just the formalities of announcing it now it seems.
    7/22/2014 11:59:06 AM
  • I think with Burnley its definitely a case of, they will get whats left in the transfer window after the dust settles. When there is a large sale on in a store, Burnley leave it a few days and visit when its quieter and just pick up a few shop soiled tops.
    7/22/2014 11:59:10 AM
  • Well with Sigurdsson gone Holtby could probably stay, assuming either Tom Carroll or Bentaleb go out on loan...Carroll is another of our "needs a big season" group..I'm predicting an England cap by the end of the season
    7/22/2014 12:00:04 PM
  • David Moyes - The Limp Thistle
    7/22/2014 12:00:31 PM
  • We've all said Di Maria might make a difference at United,if he's off, don't you think Cuadrado would be a viable alternative?
    7/22/2014 12:00:51 PM
  • I'm looking forward to Roy Keane's reactions to Phillipe Senderos's many inevitable blunders. Not looking forward to Phillipe Senderos's many ineveitable blunders.
    7/22/2014 12:01:43 PM
  • Holtby to Palace is ok. Fulham were doomed when he got there. A full season would give him a chance to be the star of a team.
    7/22/2014 12:02:11 PM
  • If Griezmann signs for Spurs I will make it mission to have WHL chanting his name to the tune of Chaka Demus & Pliers' "Tease Me"...
    7/22/2014 12:02:24 PM
  • Love that Charlotte. Love that.
    7/22/2014 12:02:48 PM
  • Michael Owen: Only Zidane was better than Gerrard on the international stage. Why do we let Michael speak?
    7/22/2014 12:02:52 PM
  • More importantly, who doesn't get him talking before Mediawatch comes out?
    7/22/2014 12:03:52 PM
  • Who's on duty? Is it Storey?
    7/22/2014 12:03:54 PM
  • Ayeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
    7/22/2014 12:03:58 PM
  • Yes
    7/22/2014 12:04:00 PM
  • @NoTalentJones, I just realised that Senderos was at Villa, with Roy Keane. I genuinely fear for the poor fella's safety now.
    7/22/2014 12:04:09 PM
  • Holtby deserves better than Crystal Palace.A Villareal/Fiorentina would be perfect,
    7/22/2014 12:04:20 PM
  • Where's that Owen quote, by the way?
    7/22/2014 12:05:04 PM
  • It's D-Sto, repping the afternoon lull shift
    7/22/2014 12:05:15 PM
  • Yes indeed. The glory hours
    7/22/2014 12:05:22 PM
  • JAMES RODRIGUEZ DEAL IS DONE!!!!
    7/22/2014 12:05:45 PM
  • Big news to kick off the afternoon session.
    7/22/2014 12:05:53 PM
  • Six-year deal, undisclosed fee.

    Undisclosed = lots
    7/22/2014 12:06:15 PM
  • Zidane was a passenger in France's 98 WC win, except for the two goals from corners in the final. He missed half the games due to a red card in the final.Plus at Juve,Agnelli couldn't get him out of the club soon enough.

Also, have you noticed?Zidane *always* hides against Italy in internationals.
    7/22/2014 12:06:29 PM
  • DONE DEALIO
    7/22/2014 12:06:37 PM
  • D-Stiff great Di Natale article. He's class and your ode was beauty personified.
    7/22/2014 12:06:38 PM
  • I can only retweet so much praise. Say it on a public forum where I can lap up positives.
    7/22/2014 12:06:57 PM
  • HAMEZ!
    7/22/2014 12:07:24 PM
  • Wow,that's a great front four now - Ronaldo,Bale,J-Rod and Benzema.

    Benzema's the odd one out.
    7/22/2014 12:07:25 PM
  • F365's favorite for first manager to bite the dust?
    7/22/2014 12:07:33 PM
  • Lambert, perhaps?
    7/22/2014 12:07:45 PM
  • Michael Owen is probably the only man to find Sour Cream Pringles overrated.
    7/22/2014 12:08:18 PM
  • Chilean media seem to think Newcastle are signing Isla as a Debuchy replacement, despite the fact we've already got Janmaat
    7/22/2014 12:08:19 PM
  • This blog is giving me a serious case of the earworms. "According to Sky sources" is always mentally followed by "the street's the place to gooooo..."
    7/22/2014 12:09:55 PM
  • A broad question perhaps, but who is your favourite person in the game? I think Mr. Storey's beautiful piece on Di Natale has given me a new hero.
    7/22/2014 12:10:04 PM
  • That was the idea. I'm a git for the unheralded and quietly heroic.
    7/22/2014 12:10:23 PM
  • So nowadays is it pretty customary for the Spanish big two, to make one humongous signing each season. Bale & Neymar for astronomical fees and now Hames and Suarez?
