Andy Murray has been speaking in his press conference after his battling display against Robin Haase ...

The fact that it was the whole body would suggest it's something to do with my eating or drinking because if it's through fatigue in one part of your body then that would suggest it's conditioning, but cramping in my left forearm, I mean I didn't use my left forearm a whole lot today. I would expect it would be something to do with what I've eaten or not eaten. When the body goes into cramp, it's very, very painful. It's very soar, so I'm glad it didn't get to that stage where I actually couldn't move."

    8/26/2014 2:53:00 PM
[sunny] It's sunny and very hot at Flushing Meadows in New York again as Heather Watson receives serve from Sorana Cirstea on Court 13.
    8/26/2014 3:10:46 PM
WATSON *0-1 CIRSTEA: Watson is ranked 46 in the world, while her opponent is down at  No 80 after suffering 12 first-round losses this season. The Romanian opens up with a hold to 15.
    8/26/2014 3:12:21 PM
WATSON 1-1* CIRSTEA: Watson announced herself as a potential star by winning the US Open junior title in 2009, but has not won a match at Flushing Meadows since. She opens with with a commanding love service game, taking the ball early on this surface.

    8/26/2014 3:15:55 PM
WATSON *1-2 CIRSTEA: Cirstea has slipped from a high of 21 in the rankings to 81, while Watson has won all their previous matches, so she heads into this one confident of keeping up that winning record. However, the Romanian is looking sharp on serve and a couple of aces hands her the game.

    8/26/2014 3:17:29 PM
[break] WATSON 1-3* CIRSTEA: Court 13 is pretty full for this clash with quite a bit of British support for the girl from Guernsey. A couple of errors hands Cirstea a chance to break and Watson double faults at a crucial time. She'll be massively disappointed with that service game!
    8/26/2014 3:22:32 PM
WATSON *1-4 CIRSTEA: The pin-up girl from Bucharest Sorana Cirstea is serving superbly at the moment and Watson has no answer to the firepower of the 24-year-old. Another comfortable hold!
    8/26/2014 3:25:35 PM
[break] WATSON 1-5* CIRSTEA: British Fed Cup captain Judy Murray is in the stands to watch Watson in action which will encourage the Brit. She is currently being taken to the cleaners by Cirstea, although she lands a delicious whipped double-handed crosscourt backhand for a winner at 15-15. Watson saves two break-point chances, but can't save a third as the Romanian closes in on the opening set.
    8/26/2014 3:34:23 PM
Watson has never beaten a top-10 opponent, but has secured her first two wins over top-20 players in the last two months, beating Flavia Pennetta at Eastbourne and Dominika Cibulkova in Montreal. She'll need to show that kind of form if she is to reach the second round here in New York as Sorana Cirstea serves for the first set.
    8/26/2014 3:35:24 PM
[set] WATSON 1-6 *0-0 CIRSTEA: A fifth ace of the match hands Sorana Cirstea the first set, which she completely dominated.
