Ramirez tries his luck from distance but Marshall comfortably makes the save.
    4/12/2014 2:46:29 PM
[save]The drama never stops at the Hawthorns as Foster foils Spurs with a stunning double save. The Baggies stopper blocks Paulinho's low shot from the edge of the box and gets up to save from Rose. Superb keeping!
    4/12/2014 2:46:44 PM
Matt Le Tissier is looking at replays of Holt appearing to tug Bolasie inside the area.
Bolasie is absolutely fuming, but referee Howard Webb has turned away the appeals. [mattletissier]

    4/12/2014 2:48:13 PM
  • [goal]GOAL! FULHAM 1-0 NORWICH (Rodallega, 40)
A potentially huge moment in the relegation battle as Rodallega smashes home from close range after latching on to a free-kick.
    4/12/2014 2:48:27 PM
  • Here's how the bottom of the table stands after that opener for Fulham. If they win they would move to within two points of Norwich.

    4/12/2014 2:50:14 PM
  • GOAL! STOKE 1-0 NEWCASTLE[goal] (Pieters, 42)
Stoke take the lead in bizarre fashion! The ball is played out to Pieters on the left and he sends over what is surely meant to be a cross but it deceives Krul and floats in at the back post to give the hosts the lead just before the interval.
    4/12/2014 2:50:19 PM
  • [sunderland]SUNDERLAND 0-0 EVERTON
A strong finish to the first half for Gus Poyet's side but Everton stand firm.
    4/12/2014 2:51:13 PM
  • [crystalpalace]CRYSTAL PALACE 0-0 ASTON VILLA
Terrible shot by Bolasie who claims he was fouled just as he was about to mis-kick from 12 yards. No penalty and no sympathy from referee Howard Webb.

    4/12/2014 2:51:43 PM
  • [half-time]SOUTHAMPTON 0-0 CARDIFF
No goals and only a few chances to get excited about at St Mary's.
    4/12/2014 2:55:21 PM
  • STOKE 1-0 NEWCASTLE [half-time]
Chances at both ends but it is Stoke who have the edge after Pieters scored with what he will claim was a superlative lob but which we must suspect was a cross!
    4/12/2014 2:55:29 PM
  • WEST BROM 3-1 TOTTENHAM [half-time]
Fantastic entertainment. Spurs conceded twice in the first four minutes and missed a penalty but are still just about in it after Olsson's unfortunate own goal. They look sharp up front but weak at the back so more goals may arrive after the break.

    4/12/2014 2:55:48 PM
  • [half-time]SUNDERLAND 0-0 EVERTON
Everton have been their usual inventive selves but Sunderland had the best chance of the game when Borini's goalbound shot was blocked by Stones.
    4/12/2014 2:57:01 PM
As it stands Burnley will have to wait for promotion to the Premier League. They are being held 0-0 by Middlesbrough, while Derby are drawing 1-1 with Huddersfield, who are down to 10 with Joel Lynch sent off. Burnley have to win and Derby must fail to win for the champagne to be uncorked at Turf Moor. Play-off hopefuls Brighton are 2-0 up against Charlton.
    4/12/2014 2:57:35 PM
  • [half-time]FULHAM 1-0 NORWICH
Rodallega’s close range strike on 40, following Holtby's free-kick, separates the two teams at Craven Cottage. Snodgrass had earlier come close for the Canaries, curling a free-kick against the bar, while Stockdale made a brace of great saves for the hosts.

    4/12/2014 2:57:38 PM
A dire first 45 minutes at Selhurst Park but a point will probably satisfy both teams.

  • Here is a full look at the half-time scores in the Championship

    4/12/2014 3:00:23 PM
  • LEAGUE ONE HT[fl72]
Wolves are on the brink of a Championship return. A win will send them up and they lead 1-0 at Crewe courtesy of Kevin McDonald's goal just before half-time. Leyton Orient are doing their bit to keep up the pressure on second-placed Brentford, who are losing 1-0 at Walsall. Orient are hammering Gillingham 4-0 thanks to two goals from David Mooney, a Dean Cox strike and Kevin Lisbie's 15th goal of the season. Things were looking grim for Notts County when a Curtis Thompson own goal and Gavin Tomlin finish put Port Vale 2-0 up at Meadow Lane but a James Spencer double means it is level at the break.

The Magpies have the first opportunity of the second-half but Cisse hooks a volley onto the roof of the net from the edge of the box.
    4/12/2014 3:13:20 PM
Jeff Stelling expects to see Sunderland attack a bit more in the second half.
0-0 is a score Sunderland would be happy with under most circumstances, but this is a game they've got to win. [jeffstelling]

    4/12/2014 3:14:30 PM
  • FULHAM 1-0 NORWICH [twitter]
Norwich absentee Jonas Gutierrez is hoping for a second-half turnaround.

    4/12/2014 3:16:53 PM
  • [astonvilla]CRYSTAL PALACE 0-0 ASTON VILLA
Agbonlahor’s weak shot is easily collected by keeper Speroni  - which probably sums up the game so far at Selhurst Park.
    4/12/2014 3:17:43 PM
Spurs don't think they are out of this and they just had a half-chance to make it 2-3, Rose sending a low volley not too far wide of the post.[tottenham]
    4/12/2014 3:17:45 PM
[save]Lennon is next to go close for Spurs and Foster does really well to turn his shot past the post. The Baggies goalkeeper is a busy man and scurries across his goal to keep out an Eriksen free-kick moments later.
    4/12/2014 3:19:35 PM
  • [yellow-card]SUNDERLAND 0-0 EVERTON
Coleman is cautioned for bringing down Borini as he turns towards goal over by the byline. Sunderland's Bardsley then follows him into the book for clipping the heels of Naismith.
    4/12/2014 3:20:38 PM
Rose is booked for simulation in the box, going to ground very easily and prompting a scuffle in which Kaboul and Reid are prominent.[yellow-card]
    4/12/2014 3:21:56 PM
Matt Le Tissier can't believe his eyes as Cameron Jerome strikes the bar from three yards out with the goal gaping.
Cameron Jerome will never get an easier chance all season to score a goal. What a miss. Shocker!  [mattletissier]

    4/12/2014 3:22:03 PM
  • [missed-chance]CRYSTAL PALACE 0-0 ASTON VILLA
Double chance for Palace. After a Bolasie shot is punched clear by Guzan, Jerome somehow scoops the rebound against the bar from three yards – terrible miss.
    4/12/2014 3:22:39 PM
Crouch almost doubled Stoke's advantage but headed just over after great work from the lively Arnautovic.[stoke]
    4/12/2014 3:23:13 PM
  • [sunderland]SUNDERLAND 0-0 EVERTON
Everton finally clear the ball following an almighty scramble in the box. Ki then heads narrowly wide at the back post after Howard just got a touch to the ball to take the ball slightly away from him.
    4/12/2014 3:24:50 PM
  • STOKE 1-0 NEWCASTLE [newcastle]
Alan Pardew is watching on from the stands and isn't enjoying what he's seeing.

  • [missed-chance] FULHAM 1-0 NORWICH
Hangeland to the rescue as Snodgrass prepares to pounce from eight yards - the Norwich midfielder fails to get a proper aim on goal.

    4/12/2014 3:27:03 PM
Not today Burnley fans....not today. Middlesbrough have taken a 1-0 lead at Turf Moor through Jacob Butterfield. But worse, Derby are 3-1 up against Huddersfield who are now down to NINE with Peter Clarke sent off.
    4/12/2014 3:27:39 PM
Matt Le Tissier says Crystal Palace should have had a penalty for a bizarre incident involving Brad Guzan [mattletissier]
Crystal Palace should have had a penalty. Jedinak was in his way and Guzan booted him in the knee. It's unbelievable. Howard Webb gave the free-kick to Guzan, but he ran into Jedinak and smashed him in the leg with his right foot. That's a pen!

    4/12/2014 3:28:21 PM
  • [everton]SUNDERLAND 0-0 EVERTON
A couple of decent chances for Everton. Deulofeu breaks into the box before fizzing the ball just past the post and soon afterwards Naismith hooks wide after latching onto Mannone's attempted headed clearance.
    4/12/2014 3:28:32 PM
Fantastic goal from Cardiff defender Cala, who brings the ball down in the 'D' before shuffling it onto his left-foot and curling an unstoppable shot past Saints keeper Gazzaniga.
    4/12/2014 3:29:43 PM
  • [crystalpalace]CRYSTAL PALACE 0-0 ASTON VILLA
