  • Kris Commons admits this season has been a mixed bag for Celtic

    12/20/2013 6:56:24 PM
  • At the start of the season you always try to improve on what you did previously.

For us it was about winning the cup retaining the league and qualifying for the Champions League, so we’ve ticked a few boxes there. But I think the expectation of us, especially in the Champions League was to do a little bit more competitive and I do believe we could certainly have done ourselves a little more justice and got more than three points.
[Celtic] Celtic winger Kris Commons tells Weekend Warm-up the aims of the Hoops squad ahead of the season as he prepares for the visit of Hearts on Saturday – live on Sky Sports

  • Fernando Torres talks to Sky Sports' Geoff Shreeves

    12/20/2013 7:04:07 PM
  • I try to do the same as always, and that is work, that is all I can do. When things are not going well then all I can do is work harder.

I am very happy because I have always done what I wanted. I said one day, that I’d like to, when I finish my career, the main thing is you will not find any team mates who can talk in a bad way about me. For me this is the priority, it’s what I learnt as a kid.
[Chelsea] Chelsea striker Fernando Torres tells Weekend Warm-up he takes criticism in his stride
    12/20/2013 7:08:21 PM
  • I think it’s a very important period because there are a lot of games, League Cup, Champions League, Premier League.

We are there, we are closer, all the teams are losing points and we are close to each other and hopefully after Christmas we can be top.

We are going to the Emirates to win and be top.

  • Millwall goalkeeper David Forde is realistic about his future

    12/20/2013 7:46:52 PM
  • I’ve spoken to the club and to the chairman, we’ve spoken about various things, but we’re trying to get something sorted. If the likes of Celtic or a Premier League club comes in and you have dreams and ambitions to play in that then it’s only natural for a footballer to think that way as well. At the end of the day it’s what’s best for you and my family really.
