Weekend Live! (28-30 March)

  • [full-time]SWANSEA 3-0 NORWICH
Ruthless stuff from Swansea. Fully deserving of that comfortable victory. Norwich sliding into the relegation mire?
    3/29/2014 4:50:05 PM
  • Chris Hughton doesn't look happy at all as the full-time whistle blows at the Liberty.

    3/29/2014 4:50:32 PM
  • C PALACE 1-0 CHELSEA [crystalpalace]
Palace are holding firm and the home fans are bouncing jubilantly in the late afternoon sunshine. They're almost there...
    3/29/2014 4:50:57 PM
  • C PALACE 1-0 CHELSEA [full-time]
Are they the three points that keep Palace up? It's a huge victory for Tony Pulis and his side, who climb six points clear of the drop zone, until Sunderland below them take on West Ham tomorrow, at least. Big story at the top of course too because that title race is wide open again. It's Arsenal against Manchester City - now three points behind with three games in hand - next - fancy it?
    3/29/2014 4:51:34 PM
St Johnstone 1-1 Partick - All five matches in the Scottish Premiership are level after Doolan scores in the 90th minute
    3/29/2014 4:51:44 PM
  • SO'TON 4-0 NEWCASTLE [full-time]
Alan Pardew was back in the stadium after his ban but he might have preferred to hide behind his cushion in a hotel room. His side were well beaten, the defensive collapse a real worry.
    3/29/2014 4:52:02 PM
  • Terry and Cech look gutted as their title dreams take a major dent at Crystal Palace

    3/29/2014 4:52:36 PM
  • [goal]GOAL! WEST BROM 3-2 CARDIFF (Thievy 90')
That's cruel on Cardiff but The Hawthorns is rocking as a deflected cross finds Thievy Bifouma at the near post. He sweeps it goalwards and the close-range shot finds its way through Marshall's legs for what is surely the winner. Solskjear looks distraught as he ushers his team forward.
    3/29/2014 4:53:33 PM
  • [full-time]STOKE 1-0 HULL
That's a pleasing victory for Stoke. They've snatched victory from a poor game at the Britannia.
    3/29/2014 4:54:14 PM
[betting]Hats off for Tony Pulis, his side were 15/2 to win before the game. Odds well and truly upset. Stay tuned for Sky Bet's revised relegation odds. Bet in-play here.
    3/29/2014 4:54:55 PM
  • [goal]GOAL! WEST BROM 3-3 CARDIFF (Daehli 90')
Would you believe it! Zaha scampers down the right and centres. Turner is up there and pokes the ball into the path of Daehli. He's eight yards out with his back to goal but swivels neatly and finds the top corner via a deflection. What drama! The managers shrug at eachother and both have beaming smiles on their faces.
    3/29/2014 4:55:59 PM
Paul Merson just exploded in the Soccer Saturday studio, so Jeff describes the scene at The Hawthorns.
Both managers are hugging each other. They've both got big smiles on their faces. It's 3-3. [jeffstelling]

    3/29/2014 4:56:12 PM
  • [full-time]WEST BROM 3-3 CARDIFF
A minor scuffle breaks out at the final whistle but that can't over-shadow a truly brilliant game. The relegation race will produce further moments of drama like this and it's brilliant stuff. Solskjear milks applause from the travelling fans. Cardiff deserved that point.
    3/29/2014 4:57:16 PM
  • Here's what it all means. Man City can go top of the shop if they win the late game against Arsenal.

    3/29/2014 4:58:26 PM
  • At the bottom, that dramatic late leveller for Cardiff means they have kept West Brom in the relegation scrap - but what a day for Palace!

  • [competition]ARSENAL v MAN CITY
Well, Chelsea's defeat at Palace puts the cat amongst the pigeons. City can wrap another finger around the handle on the trophy with victory at Emirates Stadium, or Arsenal can propel themselves back into the race. Or they could draw, of course... Stay tuned - we'll be bringing you all the action right here.

  • GARY NEVILLE'S VIEW [garyneville]
Our expert says Man City will now be chomping at the bit to get out and perform against Arsenal.
Man City will be confident - even more confident than they were before - after that Chelsea result.

    3/29/2014 5:07:26 PM
  • ARSENE WENGER'S VIEW [arsenal]
Geoff Shreeves has just spoken to the Arsenal boss at the Emirates and he explained how Arsenal will play today.
We are playing a quality side. The best way of keeping them out of putting us under pressure is us to try to put them under pressure. We know they can score goals, but at the Emirates we have only lost the first game of the season. Our confidence has been touched by the defeat last week and the setback against Swansea - and only results give you that back.

    3/29/2014 5:14:41 PM
  • [betting]Arsenal will go off as 5/2 underdogs on their own turf, with Man City the even-money favourites at the Emirates. A draw is 13/2, while here's a selection of Price Boosts on offer at Sky Bet. Bet here.

    3/29/2014 5:16:38 PM
Chelsea are still top of the Premier League - but Jose Mourinho says today's defeat spells the end of their title dreams.
Now I feel it is impossible to win the title. We depend too much on other results.
Of course with my mentality I want to play every game and try to win every game. The main objective is to finish top four, the second objective is to finish top three - which is also important. I want to play every game trying to win not thinking about positions and points.

    3/29/2014 5:17:25 PM
... or so he says. He's just spoken to Geoff Shreeves in the tunnel at the Emirates and claims he doesn't watch what other teams are doing. Who believes him?
Did Crystal Palace beat Chelsea? I don't worry about that. I worry about our team. We don't depend on other results. It's very important to try to win today.

  • GAME OF THE DAY [saturdaynightfootball]
Sorry Chelsea fans. We're showing your defeat at Palace, in full, from 8pm on Sky Sports 1. Join Sarah-Jane Mee for that, followed by Match Choice at 10pm.
    3/29/2014 5:22:39 PM
  • [betting]Fancy City to run riot like their title rivals Liverpool and Chelsea did against Arsenal of late? They're 15/2 to win by three or more goals. Bet here.

    3/29/2014 5:27:28 PM
  • Here's how Arsenal line up in the late kick-off with Mathieu Flamini looking to avoid the booking that will see him pick up a suspension.

    3/29/2014 5:29:58 PM
  • Man City can go top of the shop tonight if they win this game. This is the team that is attempting to achieve that.

    3/29/2014 5:30:06 PM
  • [kick-off]ARSENAL 0-0 MAN CITY
Arsenal kick off on a pleasant evening in north London. The home fans are singing but there are empty seats visible... Strange.
    3/29/2014 5:31:26 PM
  • [missed-chance]ARSENAL 0-0 MAN CITY
All City in these opening stages as Zabaleta cuts it back when he should shoot. Then Silva's incisive pass releases Nasri, who fails to find a team-mate from the by-line.
    3/29/2014 5:33:20 PM
Steven Caulker says Cardiff can avoid the drop after their late leveller at The Hawthorns
    3/29/2014 5:35:42 PM
Gary Neville is trying to get his head around the Arsenal system. Olivier Giroud is up front... we can tell you that much! [garyneville]
It's confusing at the moment. I'm not sure where Arsene Wenger has told Cazorla, Rosicky and Podolski to play. They are interchanging, but at the moment Cazorla is in the central role.

    3/29/2014 5:38:52 PM
  • [missed-chance]ARSENAL 0-0 MAN CITY
Arsenal have problems down their left as Gibbs has been exposed by Podolski's failure to track back three times already...
    3/29/2014 5:39:05 PM
  • [tackle]ARSENAL 0-0 MAN CITY
Penalty?! No. Rosicky is looking for it as he takes on Zabaleta in the box. There was contact but the little Czech went to ground a touch easily for Mike Dean's liking.
    3/29/2014 5:43:15 PM
  • Rocicky goes down and the Emirates screams for a penalty - replays suggest he was looking for it, but there was contact.

    3/29/2014 5:43:22 PM
  • GARY NEVILLE'S VIEW [garyneville]
Our expert says Rosicky went to ground far too easily.
It's one of those where you think it's a penalty or a yellow card. I think he leaves his leg in there. It's definitely a dive. They're tough ones for referees - I think he's got that one right.

    3/29/2014 5:44:41 PM
  • [betting]Could there be another major incident for the referee to act upon? Sky Bet offer 3/1 on a penalty to be awarded and 5/2 for a red card at any stage in the game. Bet in-play here.

    3/29/2014 5:46:45 PM
  • [save]ARSENAL 0-0 MAN CITY
Nervy stuff from Szczesny. It's Nasri who shoots and the ball loops up off Mertesacker. Dzeko is lurking as Szczesny comes out to claim but he only does so at the second time of asking. Slightly lucky.
    3/29/2014 5:47:59 PM
  • SO'TON 4-0 NEWCASTLE REACTION [newcastle]
Toon chief Alan Pardew says his players weren't good enough in their humbling at St Mary's
    3/29/2014 5:48:06 PM
  • [goal]GOAL! ARSENAL 0-1 MAN CITY (Silva 18')
It's down the Arsenal left again. Silva, who was brilliant in the derby and has dictated play in the early stages of this game, torments the defence and his ball to Dzeko allows the Bosnian to blast off the post via Szczesny's fingertips. Silva is first to react to the rebound and his effort dribbles agonisingly over the line. Emirates Stadium is deflated already.
    3/29/2014 5:49:58 PM
  • Silva's poke finds the far corner
