  • ... and can City start to dream of a second Premier League title?

    3/29/2014 5:50:27 PM
  • [disallowed-goal]ARSENAL 0-1 MAN CITY
Flamini reaches Podolski's cross and his volley bounces into the far corner. He was well offside though - good trap from City.
    3/29/2014 5:52:28 PM
  • Correct call from the officials...

    3/29/2014 5:52:51 PM
[betting]The Gunners are now out to 13/2 to win having fallen behind, with City 1/3 to see out the win which would see them go back to the top of the table. Arsenal have made a decent response though and are 11/8 to score the next goal. Bet in-play here.
    3/29/2014 5:56:49 PM
  • [tackle]ARSENAL 0-1 MAN CITY
Plenty of possession for Arsenal but they lack that cutting edge so far. It's an excellent interception from Kompany to break up this attack - he reads Cazorla and Giroud's plans easily.
    3/29/2014 5:57:12 PM
Man City are hot favourites for the title now - and Jose Mourinho says it's "impossible" for his team to win the league this season
    3/29/2014 6:00:14 PM
  • [save]ARSENAL 0-1 MAN CITY
Simply not good enough from Gibbs, whose dangerous ball to Flamini gifts the ball to Navas. He shoots from distance and Szczesny fields.
    3/29/2014 6:00:52 PM
  • [yellow-card]ARSENAL 0-1 MAN CITY
Needless booking for Toure for tugging Rosicky back in the centre circle.
    3/29/2014 6:01:27 PM
  • [yellow-card]ARSENAL 0-1 MAN CITY
Kompany is into the book, too. Arteta knocked it past him and he bodychecked the Spaniard. Moments later, the City captain executes a brilliant sliding challenge on Giroud. The Frenchman felt that one.
    3/29/2014 6:04:33 PM
Swansea boss Garry Monk says his side must get better, despite winning 3-0 today.
We had spells but we weren't as good as previous games and I told the players that at the end. But in the spells we were playing well, we were very good. We can always get better and today is a good marker for the players.

    3/29/2014 6:08:43 PM
Palace boss Tony Pulis says his side's hard work in training was the key to their shock win. [crystalpalace]
Chelsea are a fantastic club and the manager has popped in afterwards and said well done to the lads, which shows the class he's got, so it's a great result for us. We picked the team on Monday and worked through it for four days.

    3/29/2014 6:10:31 PM
  • [yellow-card]ARSENAL 0-1 MAN CITY
Rosicky overruns the ball and slides in dangerously on Clichy. He doesn't catch him badly but City players aren't happy about the challenge. He's booked.
    3/29/2014 6:12:47 PM
  • [yellow-card]ARSENAL 0-1 MAN CITY
Silly challenge from Silva. The ball bounces up and Arteta is always going to hoof it clear. Silva follows through on him and it's a stone-wall booking.
    3/29/2014 6:16:16 PM
  • [half-time]ARSENAL 0-1 MAN CITY
The differences between the two sides are physicality and purpose. City have plenty of both. The Gunners are lacking.
    3/29/2014 6:18:10 PM
  • GARY NEVILLE'S VIEW [garyneville]
Gary Neville says Arsenal's pretty football isn't achieving enough against the power of Manchester City.
Arsenal are all too nice. There's no cutting edge.

    3/29/2014 6:19:44 PM
  • As if to prove Gary's point, here are the half-time stats - which show that Arsenal are yet to have a shot on target.

    3/29/2014 6:21:15 PM
  • [betting]Here's Sky Bet's half-time Price Boosts, with Arsenal to win 2-1 now 14/1. However, Samir Nasri has been in good scoring form of late and is 14/1 to score the next goal, with City 2/7 to see out the win. Bet in-play here.

    3/29/2014 6:23:17 PM
Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was delighted with his side's character as they recovered to snatch a late draw at West Brom [cardiff]
    3/29/2014 6:25:53 PM
Disappointed Pepe Mel questioned the time-keeping after fourth official Phil Dowd held up a board indicating four minutes of added time - only for Cardiff to grab an equaliser five minutes later.

I don't understand - four minutes are four minutes. Apparently an extra minute was played because we scored the goal, but there is no point talking to the referee because it can't be solved.

  • [kick-off]ARSENAL 0-1 MAN CITY
Up and running again at Emirates Stadium. Can Arsenal stop City taking a massive step towards title glory?
    3/29/2014 6:34:06 PM
  • [arsenal]Paul Scholes highlighted Arsenal's lack of leadership the other day - you'd have to agree with him, watching this game.
    3/29/2014 6:38:14 PM

Unfortunately we finished the game with a draw. We saw in the first half there was an opportunity for goals so we came back in the second half, tried our best and won the second balls. The team showed great character and personality. I'm pleased to score this goal against City and do it at home. We have a difficult game against Everton and it's going to be difficult now but we're going to try and win every single one.

    3/29/2014 6:39:39 PM
  • [save]ARSENAL 0-1 MAN CITY
Agonising for City. Navas outpaces Gibbs and smashes a low cross across goal. Szczesny can only get a palm to it and the ball rebounds off Mertesacker's knee and inches past the post.
    3/29/2014 6:40:53 PM
  • [goal]GOAL! ARSENAL 1-1 MAN CITY (Flamini 53')
Suddenly, Emirates Stadium bursts into life as Podolski fires a cross to the penalty spot. Fernandinho slips, allowing the ball to reach Flamini, who controls a side-foot half-volley well and finds the bottom corner. Seconds later, the ball flashes across the City six-yard box again - they're rattled!
    3/29/2014 6:41:11 PM
[betting]Arsenal’s odds were drifting out with every few passing minute without a goal - they were 9/1 to win this game moments ago but they’re now 3/1 having found an equaliser, though City are 6/5 favourites to score next. Bet in-play on the game here.

What a chance. Cazorla's attempted flick-through hits Fernandinho and falls invitingly into the path of Podolski, who tries to guide a shot rather than his usual method of blasting it. It clips Hart's heels and flies just wide. Some fans thought it was in...

  • [betting]Almost time for Bilbao v Atletico in La Liga, can they reclaim top spot with Barcelona having won earlier in the day? Sky Bet make them 13/10 favourites for an away win. Bet here.

  • ARSENAL 1-1 MAN CITY [garyneville]
Has the tide turned, wonders Gary Neville as Arsenal start to boss proceedings.
This is a completely different game now. Arsenal's confidence is up.

    3/29/2014 6:49:46 PM
  • [save]ARSENAL 1-1 MAN CITY
Nasri chips the ball to the edge of the area and Silva unleashes a sweet volley that is blocked by the crowd of bodies in the area. That was travelling. Seconds later, Fernandinho catches a half-volley sweetly and Szczesny is forced to tip over. City responding.
    3/29/2014 6:51:57 PM
  • A decent stop from the Arsenal goalkeeper. Stay with us folks. This is getting VERY interesting.

    3/29/2014 6:52:45 PM
  • [substitution]ARSENAL 1-1 MAN CITY
Milner comes on for Navas. Slightly negative from Pellegrini?
    3/29/2014 6:52:57 PM
Mats Moller Daehli grabbed a point for Cardiff after Saido Berahino gave the ball away trying to score a fourth - and the West Brom forward has apologised on Twitter.

    3/29/2014 6:58:15 PM
  • [missed-chance]ARSENAL 1-1 MAN CITY
Poor marking from Toure allows Giroud a free header at a free-kick. The Frenchman's header is wayward but that wasn't clever from the big Ivorian. This game has become a little cagey.
    3/29/2014 7:01:06 PM
  • [missed-chance]ARSENAL 1-1 MAN CITY
Slack tracking from Arteta allows Nasri to slip through on goal, and Arsenal escape by the skin of their teeth as Sagna somehow manages to send Toure too wide to finish.
    3/29/2014 7:04:04 PM
Jose Mourinho has said it - and Gary Cahill is sending out the same message. The Blues are top of the table - but are insisting they can't win the league!
    3/29/2014 7:06:34 PM
  • [missed-chance]ARSENAL 1-1 MAN CITY
Giroud glides past one but then gets over-excited and drags a 20-yarder well wide.
    3/29/2014 7:06:53 PM
  • [substitution]ARSENAL 1-1 MAN CITY
    Oxlade-Chamberlain replaces Podolski.
    3/29/2014 7:07:14 PM
  • [substitution]ARSENAL 1-1 MAN CITY
Garcia on for Nasri. The Arsenal fans boo their former man off. It's another defensive switch from Pellegrini.
    3/29/2014 7:08:54 PM
[betting]Bilbao have thrown a spanner in the works in La Liga by taking the lead at home to Atletico. The visitors are now out to 7/2 to win and 9/4 to draw, but it's early days. Meanwhile, in the Premier League, Arsenal are 11/2 to find a winner while City are 3/1. Bet in-play here.
