  • [edchamberlin]Sky Sports presenter Ed Chamberlin looks ahead to the latest round of Premier League action and thinks the title could be Manchester City's if they can conquer rivals Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium on Monday Night Football.
'Do not lose to your rivals'. That seems to be Jose Mourinho's mantra. He's forced stalemates at Old Trafford and the Emirates this season and Chelsea are the only unbeaten team this season in meetings between current top four teams - but how does he stop the free flowing, goalscoring machine that is Manuel Pellegrini's Manchester City?

The Cottagers are unsure whether their application to register the Tottenham loanee with the Premier League was processed by the deadline of noon on Friday. 2/1/2014 10:23:56 AM
  • QPR 1-0 BURNLEY [qpr]
Hoilett spears a shot wide from distance. This time it's Dunne who needs a spot of treatment after a cut close to his right eye. The old Terry Butcher bandage and new shirt will see him right though.
    2/1/2014 12:26:33 PM
  • QPR 1-0 BURNLEY [qpr]
Doyle pinches the ball in midfield, advances as Burnley back off, and then drills a left-foot shot just wide. What a start to his Rangers career.

  • [jamieredknapp] Sunderland have won the last two Tyne Wear derby clashes and are unbeaten in the last four so Jamie's backing another win for the Black Cats today. Bet now

    2/1/2014 12:29:45 PM
  • QPR 1-0 BURNLEY [yellow-card]
Mee's long-range shot is sailing miles wide but clips a QPR leg to win the visitors their first corner of the game, but Hill is strong and clears. Knightly is promptly booked for pulling back Hoilett as he tries to counter.
    2/1/2014 12:30:57 PM
  • NEWCASTLE v SUNDERLAND [newcastle]
What would a win away at Newcastle mean to Gus Poyet? Let's find out...
    2/1/2014 12:33:10 PM
  • QPR 1-0 BURNLEY
Dunne heads behind for a corner to Burnley, but it's a wasted effort, sailing over those assembled in the box.

  • NEWCASTLE 0-0 SUNDERLAND
Huge noise from the home crowd, and Newcastle take the hint early. Debuchy immediately makes his way forward from right-back and drags a shot past Mannone's far post
    2/1/2014 12:48:59 PM
  • NEWCASTLE 0-0 SUNDERLAND [newcastle]
Here are Alan Pardew's pre-game thoughts
    2/1/2014 12:49:31 PM
  • QPR 2-1 BURNLEY [goal] (Dunne 34)
Anything Ings can do, Dunne can do better, it seems. He may have a Butcher bandage, but he swings his left leg at a dropping ball eight yards out and rifles it into the roof of the net. Superb effort.
    2/1/2014 12:49:55 PM
  • WEST HAM 0-0 SWANSEA
Early corner for West Ham. Could be the first of many set-pieces Swansea have to deal with, and they start well, denying Carroll and co. a header
    2/1/2014 12:51:10 PM
  • It's a lovely hooked finish from the bandaged big man!

    2/1/2014 12:51:40 PM
  • The boy Dunne good!

    2/1/2014 12:51:49 PM
  • NEWCASTLE 0-0 SUNDERLAND CHANCE!
Sunderland really should be ahead. Johnson's free-kick from the right is into a good spot, but that's no excuse for Newcastle's dereliction of duty as Alonso is left in yards of space to head over from six yards
    2/1/2014 12:52:26 PM
  • NEWCASTLE 0-0 SUNDERLAND
More threat from the visitors, although it's only a half-chance this time as Borini fails to get more than a toe on Johnson's lovely pass. Nonetheless, Newcastle's defence needs to shape up sharpish here
    2/1/2014 12:53:59 PM
  • QPR 2-1 BURNLEY [yellow-card]
