  • TROUBLE FOR TORQUAY
Jeff Stelling has just warned punters against backing Torquay today at Portsmouth. Apparently their hotel was flooded overnight and the players were woken by a partially-collapsed roof with water seeping through and were left standing in the hotel lobby - many in their pyjamas - until 5am when they were moved to another hotel...

  • LATEST AT LEEDS [leeds]
Our reporter at Elland Road Bryn Law has just been updating us on the bizarre situation at Leeds. A takeover of the club by the Italian Cellino family has been agreed by the current owners and Neil Redfearn will take charge of the team today following the sacking of Brian McDermott last night - but apparently they are seeking to get McDermott back on board as manager, at least for the time being. Meanwhile, Gianluca Festa - rumoured to be taking over as manager - will be at the game today.

Overall it seems the fans at Elland Road aren't too happy about all of this.

    2/1/2014 2:59:56 PM
  • CARDIFF 0-0 NORWICH[cardiff]
Almost a great start for Cardiff as Mutch meets an inswinging cross with an eye-catching overhaed kick. Decent contact, too. but too close to Ruddy
    2/1/2014 3:02:12 PM
  • STOKE 0-0 MAN UTD
Feisty start at the Britannia, with Whelan perhaps lucky to escape a yellow card for a tug on Evans
    2/1/2014 3:02:44 PM
  • EVERTON 0-0 VILLA POST![everton]
McGeady's yet to score for Everton, but he's mighty close here. Guzan fists away a Baines free-kick, but the winger picks it up, cuts onto his left foot and bends a shot against the back post with the keeper beaten
    2/1/2014 3:04:21 PM
  • HULL 0-0 SPURS [hull]
Good start from Hull and Vertonghen is forced to concede a corner. Up come the big boys, but the ball in is far too strong and sails over all involved.
    2/1/2014 3:04:30 PM
  • [goal] GOAL! CARDIFF 0-1 NORWICH (Snodgrass)
The opening goal comes at the other end, despite Cardiff's decent start. Olsson gets behind the home defence and pokes over a ball which deflects into the path of Snodgrass eight yards out. He can't miss, and he doesn't
    2/1/2014 3:04:40 PM
  • HULL 0-0 SPURS [hull]
Brady and Long combine well, allowing the former to burst into the box beyond Walker, but his cross drifts out of play. Another sluggish start from Spurs...

    2/1/2014 3:07:14 PM
  • FULHAM 0-0 SOUTHAMPTON[fulham]
First chance goes to Fulham. Parker's as busy as ever, winning it in midfield and scurrying goalwards before attempting to chip Boruc. Touch ambitious perhaps, and it's an easy claim

  • FULHAM 0-0 SOUTHAMPTON
Fulham closer this time, Burn getting up above the Saints defence to direct a header narrowly past the angle
    2/1/2014 3:08:37 PM
  • CARDIFF 0-1 NORWICH
Half a chance for Cardiff to draw level as a customary Whittingham free-kick is headed over by Caulker. Comes at him quickly, but he might still feel disappointed with that
    2/1/2014 3:09:53 PM
  • HULL 0-0 SPURS [save]
Chance for Hull as Jelavic beats the offside trap and attempts to loop a first-time volley over Lloris and the ball drops just over the bar. Spurs then break at the other end with some terrific one-touch passing and Adebayor's cushioned volley from Soldado's cross is brilliantly tipped over by Harper.
    2/1/2014 3:11:37 PM
  • [goal] GOAL! HULL 1-0 TOTTENHAM (Long)
Shocking defending from Spurs as a long kick from Harper is flicked on by Jelavic, takes out three Spurs defenders and Long bursts into the box to finish coolly past Lloris.
    2/1/2014 3:12:06 PM
  • EVERTON 0-0 VILLA
Mirallas is never shy of a shot, but his hopeful 30-yarder hits a Villa shin and trickles through to Guzan. Everton in control, Villa happy to sit and wait for a break

Saints getting a hold of this one in the last few minutes, but their composure on the ball doesn't extend to Schneiderlin's shooting. A corner breaks for the Frenchman, who slices a mile off beam
    2/1/2014 3:14:09 PM
  • STOKE 0-0 MAN UTD
CLOSE! Rooney, afforded all sorts of space 10 yards out, fizzes a shot just wide from Young's cross.
    2/1/2014 3:14:47 PM
  • Robin van Persie has got a great goalscoring record against Stoke. He has scored in each of his last seven appearances against them - a total of 10 goals in those seven appearances. [jeffstelling]

    2/1/2014 3:15:24 PM
  • HULL 1-0 SPURS [tottenham]
Lennon dances and skips into the Hull box but he's crowded out and the chance is gone. Hull sitting off the visitors now they have the lead.
    2/1/2014 3:16:45 PM
  • CARDIFF 0-1 NORWICH [cardiff]
The traditionally-attired Cardiff owner Vincent Tan isn't enjoying what he's seeing so far.
    2/1/2014 3:17:15 PM
  • STOKE 0-0 MAN UTD
Evra buys a corner off Cameron and Young and Mata combine well, but Stoke scramble clear, eventually after some head tennis and desperate hacks at the ball
    2/1/2014 3:18:17 PM
  • FULHAM 0-0 SOUTHAMPTON
Couple of shooting chances in short order for Fulham, but neither Parker's nor Sidwell's efforts are much to write home about. Rodriguez, meanwhile, is in the book for Saints
    2/1/2014 3:18:48 PM
  • HULL 1-0 SPURS [tottenham]
Rose unlucky not to win a penalty for Spurs as he tumbles in the area. Spurs have a corner instead but it comes to nothing

    2/1/2014 3:20:32 PM
  • SKY BET ODDS
[betting]Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is having a tough start to his managerial career in the Premier League. Cardiff are 3/1 to overturn the deficit at home to Norwich for a home win, but a draw is more likely at 5/2, with the Canaries currently odds-on to see out a win. Bet in-play here.
    2/1/2014 3:21:35 PM
  • EVERTON 0-0 VILLA
Stones wants a free-kick as he tumbles on the edge of Villa box - the ref rules Bertrand's tackle a fair one. Plenty of skirmishing in this one, and precious little goalmouth action

  • KAMMY'S DAY ISN'T OVER YET

    2/1/2014 3:22:48 PM

    2/1/2014 3:23:35 PM
  • FULHAM 0-0 SOUTHAMPTON SAVE![save]
Brilliant from Boruc. Fulham go up the other end and win a corner, which Hangeland meets with a glancing header. Looks in all the way until Boruc arches his back and fingertips it to safety
    2/1/2014 3:25:10 PM
  • STOKE 0-0 MAN UTD
Free-kick for United to the right of the area after a foul by Arnautovic. Mata whips it in, but the ball swings straight into the grateful hands of Begovic.

Noone looks by far Cardiff's best route back into this. The winger wriggles in from the right and briefly has Ruddy scampering across goal as he arrows in a shot. A yard wide in the end

  • HULL 1-0 SPURS [ouch]
Spurs dominating possession now they're behind and are camped inside the Hull half. Jelavic goes down in pain after a challenge with a lunging Walker, who wins the ball. Looks like he'll be able to continue though.
