  • CARDIFF 2-1 NORWICH NO GOAL![norwich]
Hughton sends on subs Fer and Redmond, and within a minute or two the former feeds the latter for a smart finish. Redmond's just about to start the celebrations when he spots a linesman's flag, and it's the correct call

    2/1/2014 4:35:57 PM

    2/1/2014 4:37:29 PM
Hard to do this bit of Marshall handiwork justice. It's a breathtaking stop from the Cardiff keeper, down like lightning to his right to push away Redmond's low drive. Norwich recycle the ball, and Hooper is denied by Bellamy's goal-line clearance. Norwich getting closer
    2/1/2014 4:38:31 PM
A spectacular volley from Assaidi draws a fine save from de Gea following Evra's poor defensive header and Stoke have a corner. The United keeper makes a hash of claiming the cross so the Potters have another. Van Persie heads this one behind and the third almost falls kindly for Stoke six yards out, but United hack clear. Hernandez replaces Van Persie for United.
    2/1/2014 4:39:41 PM
Marshall almost blots his copybook as he misses a left-wing cross and can only watch as Martin rattles a volley over the net with Cardiff defenders retreating to the goal-line. No sulking from the Scot, though, who's up to keep out Fer's point-blank header moments later
    2/1/2014 4:40:47 PM
[betting]Here’s an update from the Sky Bet trading room – Manchester United are under a bit of pressure at the Britannia but we give them a good chance of getting a draw at 9/4. • [goal] GOAL! EVERTON 2-1 ASTON VILLA (Mirallas)
Is this the winner we were talking about? Baines and Mirallas are stood over a 30-yard free-kick, and your money would be on Baines. In fact it's Mirallas who hits it, bending the ball over the wall and away from Guzan's dive
    2/1/2014 4:41:51 PM
  • Baines has got to take this... How did I doubt you? It's absolutely stunning. I was sitting there thinking it had to be Baines. It's Mirallas! It's 2-1! [charlienicholas]

Norwich can't do much more here.At last Marshall is beaten, but Snodgrass' near-post header thuds back off the frame and Cardiff survive again
    2/1/2014 4:45:11 PM
Great opportunity for Naismith to secure the points, but he heads straight at Guzan from six yards. Villa don't look like getting anything, all the same
    2/1/2014 4:46:13 PM
David Moyes is out on the touchline barking out instructions. Can Juan Mata or Wayne Rooney create the moment of magic they need in the dying stages? [jeffstelling]

    2/1/2014 4:47:17 PM
Desperate defending from Stoke as United pour forwards in search of an equaliser. Bodies being thrown all over the shop they're doing just enough to keep the visitors at bay.

  • STOKE 2-1 MAN UTD REACTION [manchesterunited]
David Moyes said he was happy with his side's performance, but they only have themselves to blame for not taking their chances.
I don't know what we have to do to win. We played well today. We lost to a wicked deflection from a free-kick and the second was a worldy of a strike. With the amount of opportunities we had today we should have won.
