Davis' instinctive shot on the turn bobbles wide as Saints continue to dominate the early running here
    3/15/2014 3:20:29 PM
  • STOKE 0-1 WEST HAM [scout]
Mr Moyes is in the crowd at the Britannia on a spying mission - is Nzonzi on his radar????
    3/15/2014 3:22:00 PM
  • FULHAM 0-0 NEWCASTLE
Kvist concedes a free-kick in a promising position for the visitors, who are yet to settle, but it comes to nothing and Fulham can clear.
    3/15/2014 3:22:48 PM
  • EVERTON 0-0 CARDIFF
it's a sort of half-convincing performance from Everton so far - plenty of patient possession but all a bit half-paced. Mirallas has had enough of the tippy-tappy and lets fly from 30 yards - he shouldn't have bothered
    3/15/2014 3:24:38 PM
  • 3/15/2014 3:25:49 PM
  • SWANSEA 1-0 WBA [swansea]
WIDE! Free header from a corner for Lamah at the back stick - he's done the right thing by heading it down but he's also put it a foot wide, nearly a second for him and the Swans
    3/15/2014 3:26:12 PM
  • CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
Watford and Sheffield Wednesday the big winners so far, both 2-0 up at home, to Barnsley and Birmingham respectively. No goals for any of the automatic promotion chasers yet.
    3/15/2014 3:26:13 PM
  • EVERTON 0-0 CARDIFF
Much more like it from Everton as Coleman and Lukaku combine to tee up Mirallas 15 yards from Marshall's goal. Contact is good, but Cala appears from nowhere to block
    3/15/2014 3:27:26 PM
  • FULHAM 0-0 NEWCASTLE
Kacaniklic flashes a shot from distance over the bar. At the other end, Heitinga's crucial interception cedes a corner, but Fulham clear easily enough. Poor game so far...
    3/15/2014 3:27:55 PM
  • SWANSEA 1-0 WBA [ouch]
Anichebe is in the book for a late crude lunge on Britton - it wasn't a nice challenge from the big man

    3/15/2014 3:28:33 PM
  • Yesssssss!

In the SNF studio Redders cheers on his Dad's QPR's side as Ravel Morrison gets a goal against Yeovil. [jamieredknapp]
    3/15/2014 3:29:50 PM
  • [optastats] NORWICH HOPE?

15 - No side has lost more points from leading positions in the Premier League this season than Southampton (15). Wary - Opta

Norwich are 16/1 to come from behind and win at Southampton and 9/2 to salvage a draw with Sky Bet.
    3/15/2014 3:29:52 PM
  • SOUTHAMPTON 1-0 NORWICH
And on that theme, Southampton living very dangerously at the back, taking too many touches in defence and Norwich twice threaten to steal in only for a desperate lunge to prevent a clear chance.
    3/15/2014 3:30:10 PM
  • SUNDERLAND 0-0 PALACE
Palace have weathered that early Sunderland storm, but the hosts remain the better side and Ki volleys wide from their latest half-chance
    3/15/2014 3:30:46 PM

  • 3/15/2014 3:31:02 PM
  • EVERTON 0-0 CARDIFF[cardiff] SAVE!
Cardiff's turn to threaten as the ball cannons off a thicket of Everton legs and into the path of Campbell, who's one-on-one in the box but can only hit the legs of Howard
    3/15/2014 3:31:48 PM
  • [goal] STOKE 1-1 WEST HAM (Crouch)
It's Land of the Giants here - Carroll scores at one end and at the other it's Crouch whose header from a corner comes back to him in the 6yd box and he leaps to volley in off Odemwingie who was blocking the keeper on the line

    3/15/2014 3:32:26 PM
  • FULHAM 0-0 NEWCASTLE [save]
Holtby forces a good save from Krul with a curled effort from the edge of the area. Simple enough for the Newcastle keeper on the stretch, but he made it look good.
    3/15/2014 3:32:54 PM
  • EVERTON 0-0 CARDIFF[everton] SAVE!
Livening up now, alright, and Marshall keeps the game goalless this time as he gets down to his right to shovel away Deulofeu's side-footer
    3/15/2014 3:33:30 PM
  • CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
Just after that last update, we had goals involving two of the promotion chasing sides. Burnley trail at home to Leeds with the goal from  (surprise, surprise) Ross McCormack, and QPR lead Yeovil with Ravel Morrison again their scorer.
    3/15/2014 3:34:04 PM
  • Maybe you can put him in for England as well! The big fella reacts really well he has to somersault is way around there.
[charlienicholas] Charlie's now tipping Peter Crouch for an England place after the Stoke forward NEARLY scored their equaliser, We say nearly because it looks like Odemwingie will be given the goal as it hits his shoulder on the way in.
    3/15/2014 3:34:33 PM
  • FULHAM 0-0 NEWCASTLE [save]
Instinctive save from Stockdale turns the ball around the post to deny Cisse on the stretch from six yards
    3/15/2014 3:36:14 PM
  • EVERTON 0-0 CARDIFF SAVE![save]
Marshall has had many an impressive moment this season, but the Cardiff keeper can't have made many better saves than this one. Lukaku collects the ball wide right, makes for goal head-down and fires in a 20-yarder which looks in all the way until Marshall somehow gets his right fingertips to it
    3/15/2014 3:36:23 PM
  • SWANSEA 1-0 WBA [swansea]
MISS! Great skill from Bony to chest the ball down inside a crowded penalty area but he spoils it all as he leans back and bangs his shot high into the stands. De Guzman also fails to the test the keeper after Bony misses the ball in the box moments later - Albion hanging on here

    3/15/2014 3:39:06 PM
  • SUNDERLAND 0-0 PALACE
Bardsley hits the dirt in the Palace box as an unsightly scramble for the ball follows the corner. Half-hearted penalty appeals from some home fans, but the free-kick goes the other way. Scrappy old fare here now
    3/15/2014 3:40:39 PM
  • CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
Leeds have handed Burnley an equaliser at Turf Moor, with defender Jason Pearce putting through his own goal. Leicester being held 0-0 at home by Blackpool.
    3/15/2014 3:41:57 PM
  • SOUTHAMPTON 1-0 NORWICH
It's been a tetchy old affair at St Mary's and Kevin Friend is doing a lot of placating as players on both sides get the hump. Not a great deal of quality lately though...
    3/15/2014 3:42:23 PM
  • STOKE 1-1 WEST HAM [stoke]
Now that Fergie has retired the title of No1 bubble gum chewer must go to Big Sam whose jaws are working overtime on the bench - he doesn't look happy at Stoke getting back into this
    3/15/2014 3:43:41 PM
  • SUNDERLAND 0-0 PALACE
Couple of Sunderland corners are defended pretty poorly, and the second drops for Borini to let fly with a scissors-kick which misses the angle by six feet. Looks smart, but never really a threat
    3/15/2014 3:44:21 PM
  • SOUTHAMPTON 1-0 NORWICH
Hooper does really well to dispossess Schneiderlin on the right and whip in a cross, but it's just too high for Pilkington, who uses his hand to push the ball wide. He's booked for his troubles.
    3/15/2014 3:44:34 PM
  • CHAMPIONSHIP UPDATE
Having said that, Blackpool now take a 1-0 lead at Leicester with David Goodwillie the scorer.
    3/15/2014 3:45:00 PM
  • SWANSEA 1-0 WBA [swansea]
MISS! It should be 2-0 but Williams who is unmarked plants his header into the turf and the ball bounces a foot over the bar - really good chance wasted by the Swansea defender
    3/15/2014 3:45:59 PM
  • EVERTON 0-0 CARDIFF
Barry needs a bit of treatment after a Theophile-Catherine cruncher which earns the Cardiff man a booking, Looks like he'll be fine to continue
    3/15/2014 3:46:57 PM
  • FULHAM 0-0 NEWCASTLE
Half-time at the Cottage - not a lot to shout about for either side.
    3/15/2014 3:47:31 PM
  • [betting]COUPON BUSTER
Accas across the country thrown into jeopardy as Blackpool take the lead at Sky Bet Championship leaders Leicester. The Foxes are now 7/4 for a comeback win with the Seasiders 13/8 to hold on for the victory. Bet in-play here.
    3/15/2014 3:48:02 PM
  • SOUTHAMPTON 1-0 NORWICH
Time for oranges, and Schneiderlin's early goal separates the teams. His cool finish was the highlight of an ill-tempered 45 minutes
    3/15/2014 3:48:19 PM
  • SUNDERLAND 0-0 PALACE[half-time]
Home side started like a train without openng up Palace, but momentum has stalled and at the moment this has goalless draw written all over it
    3/15/2014 3:48:23 PM
  • [half-time] STOKE 1-1 WEST HAM
What a chance for Ireland to send Stoke in ahead at the break - he races clear but then hammers his shot straight at Adrian who beats it away - Carroll opened the scoring for the visitors but Crouch squared it all up.
    3/15/2014 3:48:26 PM
  • [half-time]EVERTON 0-0 CARDIFF
Lively despite the scoreline, Campbell spurning one great Cardiff chance and Marshall keeping the visitors in it with a couple of great stops
    3/15/2014 3:49:45 PM
  • 3/15/2014 3:50:11 PM
  • [half-time] SWANSEA 1-0 WBA
Albion are staring down the barrel of another big defeat - Lamah put Swansea ahead after just two mins with a sweet finish and Albion have it all to do
