  • [saturdaynightfootball] We've got a feast of live football on Sky Sports this weekend, with Everton v Manchester City taking centre stage at Goodison Park on Saturday night. It's the game that holds to the Premier League title race, and is live on Sky Sports 1HD at 5.30pm.

  • [everton] Roberto Martinez says Everton will give everything to beat Manchester City on Saturday - even if it means Liverpool winning the Premier League.
I don't think there is any doubt about the integrity of our football club towards the league, we are a club who want to win every single game. They are precious points for us and we can't really afford not to give everything we have got for every point we have got left. If that adds some spice in the twists and turns of the title race so be it. As to helping other teams, that is not the way we do our work. It is not as if we are coming out on the pitch to do anyone a favour.

  • [fulham] Fulham are fighting for their Premier League status, and we have some team news ahead of their trip to Stoke on Saturday. Club-record signing Kostas Mitroglou is available having completed a full week of training. Manager Felix Magath must decide whether to include Mitroglou, who has been sidelined by a knee injury, in his squad. Midfielder Steve Sidwell is a doubt because of a knee problem.
    5/2/2014 8:20:44 AM
  • [newcastle] Striker Luuk de Jong returns to the Newcastle squad for Saturday's Premier League clash with CardiffThe on-loan Dutchman missed the 3-0 defeat at Arsenal on Monday with an ankle injury suffered in a 2-1 reverse at the hands of Swansea on April 19, but is available once again, although fellow frontman Papiss Cisse (knee) is out. Midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa is fit, but is unlikely to be included once again with manager Alan Pardew having suggested he is not currently worth a place in the squad, while utility man Ryan Taylor is back in training after a second bout of knee ligament surgery, but still some way from fitness.
    5/2/2014 8:24:14 AM
  • [astonvilla] Aston Villa defender Joe Bennett is still struggling with an ankle injury ahead of his side's massive Premier League clash with Hull City on Saturday. The full-back missed last weekend's defeat by Swansea and remains doubtful for the Villa Park showdown. The likes of Christian Benteke, Libor Kozak, Charles N'Zogbia, Gary Gardner and Jores Okore remain out of action, though the latter has returned to training after a long-term ligament injury. Villa are just three points above the relegation zone.
    5/2/2014 8:31:07 AM
  • [swansea] Swansea will be without injured pair Michu and Angel Rangel for their final Premier League home game of the season against Southampton on Saturday. Michu continues to recover from an ankle problem, while Rangel suffered a groin strain during last weekend's 4-1 demolition of Aston Villa. On the plus side for Garry Monk, though, Chico Flores is available after serving a two-match suspension following his sending-off against Chelsea last month.
    5/2/2014 8:38:58 AM
  • [westham] Marco Borriello is the only absentee for West Ham as they welcome London rivals Tottenham to Upton Park in Saturday's early Premier League game (12.45pm). The on-loan striker is struggling with a calf injury which has limited the 31-year-old to just two appearances for the Hammers since he joined in January. With the rest of his squad fit and in contention, manager Sam Allardyce will be tasked with picking the right team to end a run of four straight Premier League defeats.

  • [saturdaynightfootball] Everton captain Phil Jagielka returns to the squad for the visit of Manchester City (Saturday, 5.30pm, live on SS1HD) after a 10-week absence with a hamstring injury. Fellow centre-back Sylvain Distin is still a doubt after a similar problem forced him to miss last weekend's defeat at Southampton. On-loan Gareth Barry is unavailable against his parent club while fellow midfielder Steven Pienaar (knee) is still not available.

  • [saturdaynightfootball] Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho insists they will not let the Premier League slip out of their hands for a second time. City's defeat to Liverpool and the draw with Sunderland last month meant they were no longer in control of their own destiny, with the Anfield club becoming favourites for the title. However, Liverpool's defeat to Chelsea last weekend has allowed City back in and they are in pole position to claim the championship crown if they win their final three games of the season, starting at Everton live on SS1HD.
We are back with a big chance of being champions again. We are not depending on other teams. It only depends on us, and that has changed a lot.

  • [supersunday] David Luiz insists that Chelsea will not give up in the Premier League title race, despite relying on other teams to drop points.
We cannot win automatically, so it will be difficult. But we need to fight. Everyone speaks about results. It is a bad season if you don't have trophies at a big club.

  • [mondaynightfootball] Liverpool face a long wait until Monday night for their clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park - but Mamadou Sakho insists they must put Sunday's defeat to Chelsea to one side and play their final two matches in the style that served them so well all season.
We now have to focus on what's ahead of us, meaning the next two games. And we mustn't change anything, we should remain true to ourselves and play our own game and then try and win those two matches so we can grab those six points.

    5/2/2014 9:44:31 AM
  • [hull] Hull City have no new injury concerns ahead of their Premier League trip to Aston Villa. Goalkeeper Allan McGregor is in light training after breaking three ribs and damaging a kidney against West Ham in March, as is Paul McShane following a lengthy absence with ankle trouble, but neither are in contention. With safety not mathematically certain, manager Steve Bruce is expected to stick with Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic rather than explore his options for the FA Cup final - for which both are cup-tied.
    5/2/2014 9:49:08 AM
  • [manchesterunited] Wayne Rooney is a major doubt for Manchester United's match against Sunderland as he is ill and also has a tight groin. Fellow striker Robin van Persie will be assessed on Friday to see whether he has recovered from the knee injury which has sidelined him since March 19. Goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard (illness) and defender Rafael (thigh) are doubts while interim player-manager Ryan Giggs has said he is unlikely to name himself in the match day squad.

    5/2/2014 9:55:14 AM

    5/2/2014 10:09:46 AM
  • [cardiff] Cardiff will be without suspended defender Juan Cala when they continue their fight for Premier League survival at Newcastle on Saturday. Cala was sent off during last weekend's damaging 4-0 defeat against Sunderland that sent Cardiff bottom of the league with just two games left. Ben Turner is expected to take over from Cala as the Bluebirds target a win that would at least give them a fighting chance of avoiding the drop.
